Oh dude, don't remind me. I fuckin' bawled my eyes out to MGS3. That was so sad. It truly made me feel like the villain. I'll never forget that game.didn't expect to cry, but I did... It was like the first time I played MGS3 almost.

Hey guys and gals. My name’s Nathan Plewes and I’m the associate producer lucky enough to oversee all things ME3 multiplayer! As you’ve probably heard, there are some pretty massive multiplayer updates coming. I’m here to shed some light on what you can expect, in particular the fantastic new challenge system.
We’re adding hundreds of new multiplayer challenges that can be completed at your own pace. As you progress, you’ll earn Challenge Points, essentially bragging rights. Completion of the top tier “Gold” challenges will reward you with a unique banner and title to display in the multiplayer game lobby. Gold challenges can be completed multiple times for even more points. We’ve also added an additional leaderboard to keep track of the points you collect.
The new system offers an in-game way to track your progress as you complete the challenges. But we’ve also built a new N7 HQ web page that offers a ton of information when you’re not playing, including character lists, leaderboards, and gameplay stats. In-game or online, you’ll have a comprehensive way to review your overall multiplayer progression.
We’ll still be running weekend events, but they’ll be a bit different. When you jump into multiplayer, you’ll be notified that there’s a new Weekend Challenge available. Just like the current Operations, these challenges will only be up for the weekend. But now you’ll be able to instantly track your progress. You’ll also get the spoils of your efforts as soon as you’ve completed the event. No more waiting for the next Tuesday (or longer) to get your Commendation Pack!
There will be a new Weekend Challenge available every weekend, not every two weeks like our current schedule. On top of the Weekend Challenges, we will be unlocking new kits and other surprises each week to help your squad in that next big push against the Collectors.
I’m tremendously proud of the amazing work the team has done and can’t wait for you all to jump in and enjoy it.

• MASS EFFECT – Executive Producer Casey Hudson and his team are coming off an amazing eight-year run with the Mass Effect trilogy. But they’re not done yet. We are releasing more multiplayer content and we have more single-player stories coming throughout the next six months, including Omega which is coming in the Fall. But the Mass Effect universe is vast, and Casey and our teams have plans for another full game. “Where to go next?” with such a project has been a question a lot of us have been asking, and we’d all love to hear your idea

11-08-2012 #270http://gamingbolt.com/mass-effect-4-...t-says-biowareThe mass Effect series has been very successful for both, BioWare and EA, and though the Shepard trilogy may have ended with Mass Effect 3, BioWare still has plans for a new game in the series.
In fact, they’ve already started working on Mass Effect 4 (or whatever you want to call it), and it’s in “very early” stages of development right now.
“We’re in early stages of designing a completely new Mass Effect game,” Mass Effect boss Casey Hudson tweeted. “What would you want to see in it?”
Mass Effect 4 has already been hinted at time and again, and BioWare has confirmed that the game would not have Shepard or would not in any way continue Shepard’s story- that chapter is closed.
BioWare’s Aaryn Flynn earlier said, “Casey and our teams have plans for another full game. “Where to go next?” with such a project has been a question a lot of us have been asking, and we’d all love to hear your ideas.”
He also said that simultaneously, BioWare is also developing a new IP in a new fictional universe. He said: “Both Dragon Age and Mass Effect started as single games but grew into vast universes. But we aren’t stopping there. While Casey continues to oversee the development of our new Mass Effect project, he and his leads are putting together their vision for an all new game set in a fictional universe, built from the bottom-up with all new gaming technology.”
Mass Effect 3′s Omega DLC comes out later this month for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, while Mass Effect 3 releases for the Wii U as a launch title when the system releases on November 18th in the US and November 30th in the UK.

The Omega DLC is looking awesome. Man, say what you will about EA, but I love Bioware... and Visceral games (EA related). I can't wait to see what direction they take Mass Effect in the future and the new IP they're creating. I hope it's as stunning as their previous titles.

More news concerning ME4

I don't know what to say about a new team taking over but as long as they can maintain the amazing storytelling I dont give a s**tMass Effect 4 will be developed by a new studio, it has been revealed.
The next iteration in the best-selling sci-fi franchise will be created by BioWare Montreal, with the Edmonton studio supporting development during the transition.
© EA
"This is the goal we have been working toward for years now, and every member of our team is proud, excited, and humbled to take on the responsibility for the next game," said studio director Yanick Roy.
"To ensure a proper and effective transition, we'll continue to be supported by the Edmonton studio through the game's development, working with and learning from them on some critical initiatives."
Executive producer Casey Hudson will retain his post for the new game, but will have a product director working under him in Montreal.

While it will be "quite a while" before the game can be revealed, it will use a new engine and explore "new directions" in terms of gameplay and story.
"There is really not much I can tell you about the game right now, except that it will be built with the amazing technology of Frostbite as its foundation, enhanced by many of the systems that the Dragon Age III team has already spent a lot of time building," said Roy.
"The other thing I can tell you is that, while it will be very respectful of the heritage built over the course of the first three games, with the original trilogy now concluded and the switch over to a new engine, we are exploring new directions, both on the gameplay and story fronts.
"You can still expect the pillars the franchise is known for to be fully intact though, including diverse alien races, a huge galaxy to explore, and of course rich, cinematic storytelling."
He added: "Now that the core of our team is in place, the next step for us is to have the BioWare Montreal studio grow at an accelerated pace over the next year as we build a team large enough to support the production of what we know is going to be an amazing game in the franchise."

Last week Casey Hudson requested fan feedback on Twitter to help shape the next game in the series.
The 'Omega' DLC pack will be available from November 27 on Xbox 360 and PC, and November 28 on PlayStation 3.
Mass Effect 3 will be a Wii U launch title, and is also available as part of the recently released Mass Effect Trilogy.

Well KOTR II was done by someone completely different. My only issue is, don't expect it to be much more than a game of the same ilk. I'm
Not expecting a radical departure from the current formula.
