Same for me, both. For different reasons too. I'll play both campaigns, but I'll play MW3 for quick pick and play sessions when I only have 1/2 hour to spare, but will play Battlefield when I have more time; and when I fancy plugging my headset in.

I said MW3 but I actually bought both. If it wasnt for my work going well, MW3 would have been the only game that I got.
Nothing against B3 as I loved the first two but MW3 and its online world had me more excited

I actually ended up just getting battlefield 3 off of ebay, unfortunately I have to buy the stupid EA pass, that's the dumbest thing ever.
I also have MW3 preordered but won't be getting it until next Thursday, I have finals next week so I don't want to screw those up.

Got both games and I can't believe how much a pile of crap COD feels and compares to Battlefield! The team work is immense, the maps are quality and the sound is bloody amazing.
COD feels and certainly looks outdated with little chance of any team work. Even with friends that maps are that crap it still hinders any team work.
Loved COD4 but hasn't cut the mustard since. First time Battlefield player.Last edited by StoneyPS3; 11-11-2011 at 02:41.

Where's my Commander in Battlefield 3?? Can't lead an army without the Commander

Picking up Battlefield 3 this weekend. And I'll make sure to keep my MW3 copy away from it in fear that MW3 will spontaneously combust within the shear spectacular awesomeness presence that is the King of ALL KINGS, Battlefield 3!!!

I am not here to flame but its BF3 all the way for me, the game is simply awesome. I got MW3 for my lad on the 360 and its a pile of crap. I appreciate people love the COD formula and good for them but the lack of vehicles and any real teamplay means its just not as immersive as BF.
I found myself trying to press O to enter the burnt out shells of tanks...lol

I'm on the fence with this one and have yet to pick up either game. I'm edging towards Battlefield 3 just because it looks like it's more involving than the usual run-and-gun affair.

I have both, but i mostly play battlefield with a at least two of my friends from my school, and MW3 with almost all my peers. Battlefield is hella fun though.

Battlefield 3 for me personally.... Much more realistic.

Never was a fan of Battlefield, yet I have the first one and it's alright. And Call of Duty keeps getting worse. I look for balance in online games, but Mw3 has none.

Battlefield 3. I've been a huge fan since Battlefield 2 back when I had a Geforce 5200GT

They are both great games. But i think call of duty has a higher rep than battle field others may disagree but that's my opinion.
But i think MW3 is better But, Activision needs to fix the respawning though.

I can't believe Modern Warfare 3 got crushed in the polls but has crushed everything else in sales. It just goes to show people are enjoying MW3 instead of talking about it. I think a lot of people just have the agenda of bringing the game down. I like both the Call of Duty and Battlefield series. Can't imagine not having either being a fan of shooters.

All that means is that the masses are enjoying MW3 more. Just as the masses love FFXIII even tho it clearly doesn't even hold a candle to the great Lost Odyssey.

It's funny... I was planning on getting Battlefield 3 upon release, and thought I'd have played MW3 considerably by this point. I have yet to play BF3 online, and have only played MW3 briefly. I have a feeling I'll get one (or both) of them tomorrow for Christmas, though, so then I'll finally be back in the FPS multiplayer craze.

If BF3 had something more like the survival spec ops in MW3 on top of the co-op missions than BF3 is the only of the two i'd own. It's the only mode i play on MW3. All my PvP needs are greatly satisfied by battlefield :P
