Lol, tell me about it. I hope psv comes with a cushion casing. If it does, then that should be enough to hold me off from getting a protective case for it.

    Wipeout is 40? man..

I don't plan to go over 400. At most, 330. I hope the memory cards are dirt cheap. Like $12 or something. Lol.

I'm in two minds. Probably not much more than the price of the Vita and a game (F1:2011) as i'm saving up for a alienware laptop

you need a memory card. I mean, how are you going to save your stuff? lol. A good sized one will cost a penny. Anywhere from $12 to $60

Does it not come with any on board memory or even come with a little rubbish one?

to be fair i may even get my laptop first then get the Vita - depends how i feel. I've got one preordered at the moment so i may even forget about it and just end up with one!

    My budget? Not enough.

Am Australian but will be importing from USA to save mucho $$$.

So far looking at Vita ($249)
    Wipeout ($40)
    UC:GA ($40)
Gravity ($40) - depending on final review / control setup

Also probably need case of some sort and memory card.

I am hoping there will be some awesome bundles to lessen the initial blow.

I was screwed over when I got my PSP3000 at EBGames, was super excited about getting home with my Crisis Core bundle, specifically asked them if it has internal memory for save games, they said "yes" (two different staff members), and then I soon found out that I could not save my game. So away goes the PSP until I could hunt down an affordable memory stick.

Lesson here was that EBGame know nothing about games.

I may consider importing this from the US as well, we get buttfudged by Sony in terms of pricing here in the UK.

I'm not gonna go over £300, to include ofc PSVwifi (hopefully comes with a small mem stick and slip case)

Just the one game I think. Probs end up with Uncharted, will seriously consider F1 2011 if it's close to a launch title.

If there's any cool looking docks, may invest in one of those too!

This is true, but lets hope it's not like the Nintendo way giving you only 3 flippin save slots for every game!

So 250$ is the confirmed price point? It's too far out of my budgets... Well, not exactly. I can afford it, but I don't have the impulse to own one. Maybe a year or two after it releases, possibly.

The game cards are also suppose to have enough room for downloadable add-on content on them as well, so I assume there will be enough for more than just 3 save slots.

I could afford one plus a videogame out the gate, but currently I'd rather hold on to that money so to put it toward college and gas (and food). I definitely intend to pick up a Vita down the road, but I think I'll wait it out a year or so and see how the device fairs in the mainstream, Sony's subsequent plans for it, the public's reception to the games, and how developers either increase or decrease their support based on its performance.

I'm optimistic at the moment, and chances are I might just get too excited come release date and buy the damn thing anyway, but for now my budget is nada.
