Controlling the fight easily, Haye going to have to come up with something special if he wants to win this.

LOL at Haye's "broken toe" excuse.

I watched it as well. It was a disapointing fight. It got annoying when haye kept flopping. But the ref shouldn't have called a knokdown that time when Haye flopped again. Also the toe excuse was lame.

4 fights in the heavyweight division, one against a journeyman,, one against a slow bumbling ape whose only gimmick is his size, one against an over-the-hill average fighter and one against a fraud and he began to believe his own hype. that's a big mistake to make. the "hayemaker" turned out to be not quite as devastating as haye himself was making it out to be.
he was shown to be a third rate fighter in what these days is considered to be a second rate weight division.
the toe excuse was the cherry on the cake.
I don't know how he can forego the shame to step into the ring again. he said he was going to retire in october, but he might as well retire now, his options are limited. neither klitschko will entertain him again after tonight.
I can't help but wonder what a fit tyson or lewis in their prime would do to either of them had they been in the ring tonight. haye wouldn't have lasted 4 rounds against either of them.Don't waste your words I don't need anything from you.
I don't care where you've been or what you plan to do.
I am the resurrection and I am the light.
I couldn't ever bring myself to hate you as I'd like.

Seriously? Some of you thought Haye was going to beat Wlad? Based on what exactly?
Get the power of Tua in the ring and his granite jaw.

I would liked to have contributed to this thread, but due to a broken finger that I injured whilst cleaning my nostril. I am unable to fully commit myself to this discussion.

TBH I really do think that big punch at round 12 had hurt Vladimir a lot, you can tell by how his eyes were closed and how he was holding onto haye. If haye did that earlier and around 3 times more who knows what would have happened.
Too bad he did not rush forward as much as hoped he would have. That toe would affect your chances of rushing forward but can you feel that pain through all the adrenalin in your body? i doubt so.

Shane Cameron broke his HAND, you know, the thing that's pretty important in boxing? Broke it in the FIRST round and then still knocked out his opponent in the eigth.
A broken LITTLE toe? Please.Despite crushing a knuckle when a right hook slammed into Mirovic's concrete forehead in the first round, Cameron stretched his unbeaten professional streak to 18 when he knocked out the Australian in the eighth round at a packed Sydney Entertainment Centre.

so did joe calzaghe. broken bones are a hazard of the trade, if you have to use them as an excuse for being totally outclassed, it's time to give up.
