Not sure why, they could easily continue to release comics on both PSP and PSV (and PS3?). Seems Sony are trying to brush the PSP under the carpet as if it never happened with the PS3 ports and this.

My question is, why isn't the comic book app on the PS3 yet? 4,000 is a rather nice collection of comics but limiting it only to the PSP was really dumb.

I only bought the AstroBoy: The Movie collection. Because AstroBoy is just so awesome.

I bought around 7 different comics and download about 10 free ones. It was a pretty cool service, but I agree, why not just put it on all PlayStation platforms :/

That might be what they're trying to do, but they apparently need to renegotiate contracts to do this, hence why they've stopped updating for the time being.

The comics app has already been seen on the Vita's main menu during a live demonstration, so I'm guessing it'll be going to that, their new tablet and maybe Xperia phones.

Ah I see. Thanks for the info. At least it will still be up and purchases are able to be made.
I bought a few Megatron comics that I just re-read last night, they are really cool and I want to get the rest now ><
