You know what, you are right. I haven't contributed to this conversation with my last two posts. I apologize to ejm 91 for taking this thread off topic with this stupid bickering.

To get back on topic I say that ejm 91 should go with the Core 2 Duo.

I would concur with that, this was stupid bickering. Ejm 91, purchase your Core 2 Duo with confidence, no matter what AMD does, Conroe will allow your PC to perform nicely for years.

Thank you all for your help, but I have just bought an iPod Video and a new phone with some of the money I was planning on getting my new CPU/PC with so it will have to wait for now. I will be getting a Core 2 Duo though when I have enough cash.
