been a little slow at work (real-work now, no more internships!) and i thought i would pop in. I'm a little amazed at myself that i remembered my password, tbh.

So how are things at the most dramatic forum i have ever frequented? Have the fires gone out on the console wars or are the flames still fanning strong?

I graduated college last spring and got an engineering job in beautiful Colorado Springs. Going to PAX West next month, it would be...interesting, if any of you guys are going.

I have actually completely fallen off the gaming news circuit. havent looked at anything in months and months, and before today, i didnt know what a single console had sold in the US in the past year (can you imagine?)

anyways, i definitely got a kick out of coming back here and recognizing about half the names on the current users list on the main board page. So if you keep an eye on the off-topic threads, stop on by and say hi (even you, bligmerk!). I'm not likely to be an active again, but i might be moreso than once a year now!

Thats what actually brought me back. someone in my irc posted the NPD numbers for last month and i decided to go back and dig up my old sales archive for shits n giggles. Ended up spending half of a depressingly slow day at work updating it and building up a nice analysis of the past few years (i really just cant help myself sometimes...)

looking through the 'forum leaders' page just now was quite a trip down memory lane. im still just amazed at how many people i knew from way back when are still full-timers here by the looks of it.
