I'm wondering why that is or if I'm missing one? I checked out the folk dancing one and apparently it's really bad.
My girlfriend has been playing The Fight doing the circuit training for 30 minutes a night but is interested in changing it up once in a while with a dance game.
The Move would be perfect for a Just Dance style game, having 2 controllers and it's precision and all.

There's Michael Jackson The Experience. If that's not your cup of tea, there actually is a Just Dance game, Just Dance 3.

You don't need videogames to dance.

^Truth.
Aside from that, I feel that the best "dance games" will not depend on holding something. It's why Dance Central was so popular and why DDR still remains the most ideal concept for a dancing sim (IMO, anyway).
I just can't see the dance genre and Move as compatible in a significant way unless the Move controllers aren't used or dance isn't the primary gameplay.Last edited by Bio; 09-05-2011 at 17:50.

I have Singstar Dance and the dance part is really bad. The routines are really hard and you have no idea what moves are coming next. Dance Dance Revolution can be fun, but its just too hard. They have added move support but it's just... not good.

Dance Dance revolution's move incorporation is a bit of a joke. All you do is point the wand at a corner of the screen.

Four corners only? I don't have the game so I didn't realize it was that bad! Dang.

Many motion control games just crib from the Wii especially the ports, so they bypass doing full motion tracking unless there's an added feature or it's simply easier to do.
I tested out the MJ game on my aunt's Wii when she got it and it's fairly easy to "not commit" to the whole dancing thing because the controller just wants to know it's pointing in certain directions or being swung in the right direction. If they really wanted you to get into it they'd push for more one to one gameplay._____________________________________________

Everybody Dance looks good. I've tried the demo and actually really enjoyed it.
