If I wanted to play this id have my girlfriend buy it for me so I don't look like a idiot at best buy or gamestop trying to buy it.

It looks like a good game but it isn't worth $60 if its a full release its a total bargin bin or rental.

The gameplay footage actually look good. I like that they didn't screw around with multiple weapons and lame upgrades and other bull****. It's just here's a chainsaw, and this is what it can do, now go kill some zombies with it. The combat looks pretty good, but Suda's games almost never really have any substance behind his style, so I don't know if I'm willing to pay $60 for another "turn your brain off and play" game.

After playing Shadows of the Damned, I will basically play anything that Suda 51 gets his hands on. Was the game perfect, no far from it. But it was a quirky, raunchy, dirty, over the top, fun game. It took some balls to come up with that game and actually release it. A lot of fun and hilarious. Too bad it had shit sales. But I for one will be playing this day one.

I got that Duke Nukem (The older ones) kind of enjoyment out of that game. I expect this to be the same. Those "WTF is this, and why am I enjoying it kind of game."

I don't understand all the hate about the way it looks. Bayonetta was about as corny as they come but still a pretty good game. This game is definitely out there though.

Based on the games, I had just assumed that the wet dream of today's 14-yr-old boy is to shoot assault rifles at people. The crazy fantasy cheerleader-on-zombie carnage of "Lollipop Chainsaw" looks more healthy for a young gamer than the realistic multiplayer slaughterfests of Modern Warfare, Battlefield, etc.

To me, this looks like one of those games that seem awesome after watching a trailer but when you actually play the game, it turns out to be downright stupid.

Why would it be? It's made by the people behind No More Heroes. While NMH had some problems with the boring traversal, it had fun action and superb boss-fights. NMH2 did away with the shitty traversal and boring mini-games and had even better action than the first. This looks like it continues where they left off with NMH2, should be fun.
