My boy has really out grown his DS, he doesnt really play much on it, and we thought we might get him a PSP for Xmas.
I know we can pick some very good games at bargin prices for it, but I really dont know what is "great" vs what is "average".
He likes RTS, and shooters, not a fan of RPG's (we got him one of the Final fantasy games for his DS and he's hardly touched it).
Also like stealth/shooter type of games as well.
Any suggestions?
PS: No not waiting for a vita, not within out budget for him.

Syphon Filter!!! Also Killzone Liberation is amazing.
Also give Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice a look at (stay away from the original because it's ballz)
It's a little like the old Chase H.Q. games from the late 80's.Last edited by mickice; 08-26-2011 at 12:57.

I liked the syphon filter games on PSP, and the Wipeout games as well. The syphon filters are M rated, but there no worse than a Mission Impossible flick. Resistance Retribution and Killzone Lib were both fun, but the content may be too mature for a 13 yo. If he likes strategy games, try Field Commander. My personal favorite is Jeanne D'Arc, which is sort of a fantasy retelling of the history of Joan of Arc (The Japanese developers kind of take the history and fudge the facts greatly), but the art is lovely, and its a strategy RPG like FFT. Luckily, there are quite a lot of good PSP games so you can't really go wrong.
During E3 I check out the booth babes, and if that's wrong...then maybe I'm missing the point of E3

Try the 'Sega Mega Drive Collection.
I used to have it when i had a psp 1000.
Its got some great games e.g sonic the hedge hog, streets of rage etc
its a great retro game that brings the 90's classics back!

So far hes got:
Resitance (he loved it).
Ratchet and Clank Size Matters (loved it)
Secret Agent Clank (he's currently going through upgrading every weapon to max-loved it)
Splinter Cell
doesnt like it)
Batllefront (cant remember which one -got a rebel on the cover?)-meh
Jak and Dax (not sure if he liked it or not)
Daxter (though tit was crappy because it was just squashing bugs?)
If that gives you and idea in his taste of games.
