Rules? Simple, the contest is open to all! New members and old!

What do you need to do to enter? You will need to describe your favorite movie action scene. In the spirit of the game, try to think of the most overboard action sequence you have ever seen in a movie. You can describe it, post a video, screenshot, however you wish to enter. The only rule is, it has to be a real action sequence in an actual movie! No made up entries please!

Only one entry allowed, so make it count!

Winner will be chosen based on their posts using a highly intricate set of standards and system of review. Nah, really we will just pick the two posts that really stand out!

So ... am going to go with Transformers 3, when the whole attack starts happening on the sitting, there is nothing more thrilling than hearing CRUNCH, BOOM, SMASH going on with some amazing action flyiing about! =D

The scene that really got me was taking down Soundwave and his giant "snake" eater I say :P
This was started by a lovely big smashing down ship that created some lovely crunches, followed up by none other than Smash, Boom, Crackle and KABOOM ! for good measure.

Finally everyone and thing coming together and finally taking down the beast himself, with a lovely SMASH CRUNCH POP! =D

Going with the expendables, the daddy of all action films.

For starters its hard to pick one action scene but if i had to i would have to chose the scene where Sylvester Stallone is flying a big plane, dont know the name but is accompanied by Jason statham.

Anyone the scene starts of with the two actors fleeing from the police after blowing up cars, driving through the streets and killing the police. Once they get to the plane you see the two actors( and a woman) fly off and escape from the island BUT like you would not expect, they turn the plane around and jason goes into a seat that is on the tip of the plane which has no cover, so he is outside of the plane and controls a massive gun and while aiming and getting close to the area they left ( that was covered with the police shooting them)and getting to view the island and see the buildings and then it erupts, he pushes the buttons and the gun fires what seems to be like 1000 bullets per second( also they are going at a 45 degree nose dive) and while doing so the part of the harbour with the police gets lit-up with with a **** load of bullets and all you see is bodies getting ripped apart, cars getting destroyed, lots of smoke and the closer they get the more horrifically amazing the scenes becomes.

Once they get too close they pull up and you think that it but NOPE, their is more! Stallone flips a switch with releases what looks like to be petrol or gas and after doing so and espaping again jason, while still being on the outsie of the plane, shoots a flare into the harbour place and BOOOOOM, fire engulfs that area and all you see is guys being burnet alive, and all done within 2 minutes.

Anyone what makes this scene so amazing is just how action packed it is. Just looking away for like 1 second would mean you might miss a big explosion and throughout this scene their is no silence, just lots of loud sounds and while the scene plays you get pumped up and seeing this happen, although a film and fake, just amazes you.

Dude, right here. The final action scene in Wanted. This is by far the most insane, over the top action scene in any movie. It really peaks once he hits the loom area, all bets are off. This isn't your typical infinite ammo shoot-fest, he must use dozen different guns on his run. Catching guns in stride one after the other, even upside down with one-shot accuracy. Then comes the piece de resistance the gun in the eye socket. Never have I seen something so horrible and utterly amazing at the same time. A fucking gun in the face, and he's still popping off kill shots. This scene is brutality at it's best, bodies strewn across the floor, fire and explosions left and right. Gun porn at it's finest, and who doesn't love porn.

My favorite action scene of all time would have to be from a Korean movie called "The Man From Nowhere" (Ajusshi) The knife fight scene really caught my attention because of the realism, and just the epicness of it!!

In Inglorious Basterds, at the end of the movie, our ragtag team shoots the living shit outta Hitlers face. the theater is on fire, the doors are locked the the bombs are about to go off, and our American heroes are killing Nazi like its goin outta style. BOOOM! Hitler is dead.

I just really enjoyed Uncharted 2.

That had some the best set-pieces that i've seen in it.
