If it's from Japan, awesome. If it's from China, FUCK NO. I'm not fond of most American made goods. American vehicles are shit when compared to their japanese counterparts. Their engines are less efficient, and everything just seems to be put together sloppier. I have little love for motor city.

That's a great point. The source of manufacturing? The source of design? Majority of parts sourced from the same country?

Apple has brilliant designs that originate in the US, but are assembled in China, from parts from everywhere. So is that a [from my perspective] domestic product?

Those folding bike things. Also we make the bits that make the machines that make the stuff elsewhere. Also we do a lot if f1 stuff. We make highly specialised parts on a small scale
