MW3 elite membership?

So I was looking into MW3 to see if how elite worked and I come across this on amazon. I assumed this was an error and only was available with the Hardened edition. But does MW3 standard edition come with Elite Membership for free? Here is what the amazon page says for the standard edition.

20 pieces of Modern Warfare 3 DLC delivered over a 9 month period

I assume it was for Hardened edition only but could someone clear this up for me.

The Hardened Edition get a years sub of Elite with it.
Regular copies don't, and you'll have to pay I think $50 or something for the year sub.

Yeah, that's either just a mistake. Or a mistake, to trick people into buying it.
So, I wouldn't buy that hoping for the years worth of elite membership.

PS3 owners that get the elite membership do we still have to waite 30 days for map packs after the 360 people
if so this is bull. and can we get dlc for other cod games or just this game

Also for those that are going to get the Elite membership, i guess it just makes sense to pre-order the hardened edition because you get a year free?

I checked out the amazon link the other day and the original info that they had posted is gone. At least it was when I looked at it. Guess they figured out that they fudged up.
