Alrighty...
I fell into the hype of the Netflix after watching folks use it over the year. I've been a subscriber since August and I've come to see it isn't what I thought it would be fully. I still chuckle at the fact they don't have The Godfather on streaming demand. Are you kidding me? But that's not why I'm here. I'm here to find out what's this Hulu Plus and why might it be better than Netflix. I thought I'd ask you more knowledgeable folks before I wasted my time with the free week trial. (That's pretty lame btw, at least with Netflix I got a month!) Like, does it offer newer movies, etc? What?

Even though netflix has several problems, hulu is much worse. Still isn't worth the money.

Be careful netflix just lost their streaming deals with starz so in Feb they going to have almost nothing to stream. Walmart(yeh weird me saying that) is working on a netflix type service that will have day 1 dvd streaming. It in beta now so hopefully soon.

They're very different. Netflix is movies and Hulu Plus is TV shows. It depends on what you prefer.

Yeah, I read Netflix is losing Starz so they're just going to get worse.
Before they had $10 a month for dvds and streaming, but made them separate. If you're going to do that at least increase your library.
Hell the most recent, interesting movie I saw them have is Tangled (2010) and that movie is great imo.
But yeah their catalog is lacking. I use it mainly to watch tv shows I haven't seen before like Breaking Bad and Mad Men, but I plan on cancelling my subscription which I've only had since like June.
Huluplus has a free week trial (Month if you're a student) and from what I've seen they're not any better.I talk to myself because I'm the only one whose answers I accept.
