Repeat function for DVDs on PS3?

I'm trying to get a movie to play on title repeat for my nephew so he can watch a movie while he plays. I hit the repeat function and it only does it for Chapter repeat or Repeat off. It's not a Blu Ray, as I've seen some people say that Title repeat function doesn't work for Blu-Ray. Can someone help me out with this?

Never noticed it until you mentioned it but its the same on my PS3 DVD only has chapter repeat or repeat off.
repeat for video files on the hard drive works and same for videos streamed over the network.

It's never really been an issue for me but as I said I like to just put movies on for my nephew and just let them run since he is always running back and forth playing and watching tv. My sister mentioned it before but I just assumed she didn't know what she was doing. Lol I wonder if it is supposed to be like this. Seems dumb that they would just make the chapter repeat function. Only thing I found through search was that Blu Rays don't work for title repeat but nothing for DVDs.

Don't know I never tried it. I just wonder if it would let you do it for the entire duration of the movie. As far as I can tell there is no function for title repeat. At least I can't figure out how to turn it on. smh at sony.

A-B is pretty much your only option I think, silly for them not to put it in there though.

My sony blu-ray player has title repeat for both bd's and dvd's but i havent seen that in the ps3 pop up options. Like someone mentioned a-b is the only option for ps3.
