Get a better anti-virus software, such as Avast.

My next suggestion was just that, get rid of Norton.

Well, the only reason why I'm currently logging in to it is because of this issue. I don't see why it should continue on warning me and its marked as a safe website.
What I really want to know is, what made it out of the blue react this way (its only facebook)?
I don't think switching to another Anti-Virus will do lol, its been working fine on my computer.

Probably just a glitch. Ignore it.
Also, Norton costs and is pretty bad. There are some amazing free AV programmed out there.

I just checked on their website and I'm not the only one. I think there's an option on facebook where you're allowed to configure that. I just clicked on the second link you introduced it worked very well.
Probably just a glitch. Ignore it.

I believe it is definitely a glitch. I had gotten wary about this, there's only several websites I go to on my computer and if there's one that's I'm not too assure of it ends up being surfed on my mobile phone or PS3 for meticulous reasons.

There has to be a way to either confirm it as a positive site or remove this restriction.

It has stopped but I also had to click off the secure browser option from the Facebook account settings.
You're absolutely correct.But... Facebook is a virus! lol.
I had it deactivated last summer but I started to think that I had met friends from the psn that I'd like to keep in touch with unless the game that we're currently might end up having its servers shutdown.
I know what you guys are thinking "omg, why Facebook, another exanimated person", I'm very eccentric when it comes these every day issues for instance posting up an album of 200 pictures; self-shots and statuses every hour. If it was up to me, I'd be competent enough to have biography ready than just writing it up for others interest.

Switch to Linux. No need for crappy antivirus programs.

Honestly, I would switch over to AVG 2012 free version. It has all the functions (and more) that you could ever need in an anti-virus software, and I know for one thing it has never caused problems with websites. In fact, it actually has a cool plugin for your web browser that scans web-pages for viruses, which I've found to be extremely useful.

Hey guys, not trying to make another thread so I'm going to use this one. I have encountered a problem with this site. When I'm typing to a post, my mouse can't click on the post buttons like "insert url from youtube, image, etc". Also, can't click on where it says "PSU" on the top left corner with the mouse. I had already updated, Adobe Flash and Java, didn't seem to fix the problem. Another thing that I noticed is when I'm on facebook, when looking through pictures it freezes to a point until several minutes. Any ideas?

It's the web browser. IE9 is actually half decent. 8 however is not. Upgrade my friend or try Firefox or chrome

I find it awkward though, it was working last week. This spontaeneously happens. Reason why I'm afraid updating it to IE9 is because when I had the beta version, the flash media on some websites wasn't properly working. I remember going to the NBA website and slide wasn't moving nor was I able to move it.
