PSVita launching on 2/22/12 in US. Europe and more.

Japan might be getting the PlayStation Vita this December, but the rest of the world won't have to wait too long after that. Sony has confirmed to IGN that the PlayStation Vita will launch in North America, Australia, Latin America and Europe on February 22, 2012.

Sooner than I expected

So keen, day 1, and I'm actually pretty happy with the Australian pricing. $350 for the WiFi, pretty much the same price as the 3DS launched

Originally, I had planned on spending my 21st birthday hanging out with friends and drinking at Chicago clubs. Now, I might be spending a decent chunk of the great old 21 staring at a tiny screen with eyes wide open in amazement. Thank you Sony for keeping a videogame addict like me true to my nature.

Well i just got back from best buy and paid off my pre-order for the WiFi version, and Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Next move is going to be to wait and see what else its launching with. If Ruin is launching with it then its definately going to be pre-ordered and paid in full. I plan on coming home with at least 4 games.

i figure i have 4 months until release. pay off one game every other week and by the time launch comes, i wont have to drop any money on the counter at all, and i can still walk away with a Vita, 4 games, and a charging dock. actually, the charging dock might be the only thing ill have to pay for.

After the new iPhone stayed limited to the 3.5" screen, there is one more reason for me to wait for the Vita. Watching vids on the 5" screen will be amazing.

Although I would be too afraid to use it as a replacement to my current clock/alarm... as I usually reach over to turn off the alarm half alseep and the clock falls on the ground 95% of the mornings
