Right, we're getting serious with this. It is now an official competition - with the winner getting $25 via PayPal, as well as glory and fame amongst the forums!
What we're looking for is a set of 8 forum thread icons, to replace the confusing current ones pictured below. They must be exactly the same size, decent quality images, with a small file size. They should match the forums blue/silver template, and clearly tell the members what each icon means.
The winners will be chosen by the Admins, and we reserve the right not to award the prize if we don't feel any are suitable.
The contest will end on Sunday, 1st of October, at 9pm GMT.
These 6 icons...
Plus 2 more icons indicating a moved topic, and a stickied topic.

Joke: Not really. Well I've uploaded the VB 3.6 Default ones for the time being. This comp is still open if any one can make any better ones...
I also have just this minute realised that 'hot threads' were set to just 250 page views!
I've sinced up'd hot topics to 10,000 page views or 1000 posts - which ever comes first.
No wonder there were so many hot topics!

Your "no new post" and "new post" need to be differnt somehow. I would suggest making one open or something. Same for the hot thread ones. Eitherway, I like them.

yea same point I wanted it to be like the phpbb forum...because the less
icons there are the better. I think that we don't need an indicator for new posts since it already states the time of the last post (ex: 1 minute ago).

Are they the default Vb ones coloured?
They look good, but I think I prefer the current ones.
EDIT: No they aren't the default vb ones, but they look familar.....

I dont know the demensions or how big the files can be, but im sure that arrows, or somekind of uniqueness should come into play...
(IF my views are not valid, becuase I know nothing of photshop (except how to crop and blend backgrounds, then I will keep my opinions to myself)
