MGS HD Collection Achievements revealed

Who all is picking up this collection?

The Xbox 360 Achievements for Metal Gear Sold HD Collection and Peace Walker have been revealed.

Presumably the Trophy list on PlayStation 3 will look similar.The biggest gamerpoint pay-outs are 80. They're reserved for collecting all dog tags or for completing all VR and alternative sessions.There are quirkier 10-point Achievements dished out for recruiting Hideo Kojima or for stimulating yourself.The full lists can be found below.

TBH there should be 3 sets, not 2.

I'm getting the Collectors edition on PS3, but this is Greatness on both consoles. If Xbox'ers never owned these games during the PS2 days, at least they'll know now what pure greatness looks like in the form of Big Boss. Just take my money again, Kojima. You knew what you were doing by putting MGS3 in HD with trophies.

Its not its 3 games. Sly Cooper, Splinter Cell, GOW etc. all had separate lists for the separate games. Looks like Konami is cutting corners even on the trophies front with their "Collections".

nice stuff, can't wait to get this game..I wonder if it will have an online part because MGS3 did have online but they discontinued it in 2006 I think

Usually I would, but just remembering the chore of getting the dog tags and completing the game with no alerts (not hard, just long)..kinda puts me off lol

Not really, if you played the series you know where to go and what to do it isn't that hard or time consuming. I know the game almost front to back to be honest specially MGS1 and MGS2. I completed both without alerts along time ago.

Yes, like I said it's more of a time thing than a difficulty thing, I have done them on no alerts too. Will just depend on how I'm feeling that will determine how I want to go about playing them (and whether I've got a trophy feever at the time, which comes and goes for me)

I know the games inside out too. I'm most excited to play PeaceWalker to be honest - my favourite MGS after 3. Will definitely get the plat for that

I've played through 2 way too many times, I don't think I could dedicate too much time pursuing trophies for it (assuming they will be time consuming) with all the other games coming out and a huge back log of games. Peacewalker on the other hand is still relatively fresh for me as Ive only completed it once..and MGS3 is the best in the series, so playing the fuck out of that goes without saying
