why is it misinformation? have they changed it now?
I say all that from actual experience when I purchased extra online passes for White Knight Chronicles and it was using the sony online pass so unless they have changed how it works I consider that fact. It'll be a huge relief if what you're saying is true so if you could please confirm this with proof or if you have experience with this?

I'll be getting uncharted 3 tommorrow so will be able to see for myself if it does work on multiple accounts now (will add it to my middle brothers account as he played uncharted 2 online the most, just in case the online pass issue I have experienced and voiced is still there) . I didnt get resistance 3 due to the online pass issue i had with white knight chronicles 2, assuming then that the online pass issue was unchanged.

I checked to see if you were right before posting that so I am saying it because of actual experience also.
I am not sure why it would be different for other games. I'll test Resistance 3 tonight (tested U3's online pass and had no problem connecting with other accounts on my PS3 that did not have the code associated.)
EDIT:
We are talking about playing from the same PS3 right? That's what you said in your first post. Just want to make sure.
As long as the account that is associated with the online code is present (and you've downloaded the Online Pass from your download list), you can play online with any account.Last edited by sainraja; 11-02-2011 at 14:56.

yeah, i was talking about playing it on the same ps3.
Thanks guys. Thats a huge relief and I'll edit my original post in this thread and label it as misinformation. My experience from the online pass on white knight chronicles 2 (which needed a new pass per psn account) lead me to believe this was the same across all titles using the online pass.
will +rep both of you if I can +rep at the same time

The code for UNCHARTED 3 is printed on the back of the instruction booklet so there is little chance that it is not included.
Trophy-licious!

I'm not sure what to think now. I entered the online code on my account when I bought the game. But if someone else in my family wants to play online on their account (on the same PS3) it asked for a new code to be entered. And using the original code does not work. Am I stuck paying $10 for anyone else in my family that wants to play online? If so, this is probably the last game I'm buying new with an online pass feature...

That's in interesting development. I assumed that it would work like EA has stated, and all accounts on the PS3 that the code was validated on, can use the online pass. Are you saying that this is incorrect for Uncharted 3?

If you read the above posts, the online pass will activate online for all psn accounts on the ps3. So only need to use it once.
I was one of the people throwing hate around for the pass because of my experience with the pass on white knight chronicles 2. Apparently its changed now though so hoping its true. I'll post tommorrow in this thread after seeing if activating it really does enable online for all accounts.

Ah right. Fantastic if true, because my brothers enjoy UC3 MP as much as I do.

I think it's always been this way with White Knight being the exception.
Which game? I tested Uncharted 3 on the same PS3 and it works. I've done the same with other games I have with an online pass and that works.
Try downloading the online pass file again to the same PS3.Last edited by sainraja; 11-05-2011 at 17:49.

hi, sorry for "bumping" an old thread.. but this is very necessary !
the reason i'm here now is because this is the only place i find so far
that someone says the voucher code can be used more than once...
John25, if that is true then pls try to help me with this..
here's my so sad & frustrating issue:
I've purchased the game Uncharted 3 two weeks ago from Dubai,
created an ID since i was new to online, and entered the voucher
code, it worked, ofcorse.
but i was testing only, so i created an ID randomly and quickly "thought
i can change it at anytime" with some dumb name, just so i can access
my first online match fast LOL. it also has a spelling mistake o_O so no
way i'm gonna be using it..
so i made a new account (ID) , i changed the email of the old ID to another
email so i can use my email on the new ID, and then when i entered the code
this message showed up "The code you entered may not be correct or may
no longer be valid. Please check your entries" .. o_O
and yes, i made an ID with the same region as the game (eu), i'm from yemen btw.
i contacted playstation consumer services, a guy replied so fast, he was so gentle
in his letter and apologized like three times. bottom line he said:
"unfortunately voucher codes are only good for one redemption"
idk, maybe that's true, maybe he doesn't know.. so john, any tips or ideas
on how i can solve this problem?
i just want to make sure if there's a way that i can use the network pass again..
thanks
