I just sold back my User Name style and didn't get my points back

Nope, the BuyBack price is always lower than the selling price. As a member of staff, you should know this.

Should I? The update came live thismorning I haven't had a whole lot of time to tinker around, but as far as I remember the old Shop system in regards to selling back icons, gave the full amount back. I was just confused for a bit because I assumed this would work the same. Its not a big deal, but just mentioned it

Were these Ugly drop shadow names really necessary.. it's just overkill. Just freaking get back the shop icon style we had back in the day with simple small shop icons and let users only have solid colors please.. it can't be too hard. The shoutbox also just clutters the mainpage unnessescarily... if you want to talk with your forum buddies great but put it in a seperate window. I also don't think a Dislike this post is necessary or like.. we have rep for that.

Overall review: Learn the meaning of simplicity. If you don't know what simplicity and uncluttered means... (go to NeoGAF)

Yeah, the simplicity of the icons and shop of old was great. There were a ton of them, some limited, etc.

i think the customize username should be limited to subs and no shadow/glow. Those just make it look ugly.


edit: maybe make the glow limited to certain colors

There should be no glow at all imo, can't see why the systems we had before with just different colors isn't good enough.

I also think the items should be disabled until they can do it exactly like he did it years ago on the forum.. no ugly border, or different sized icons they were all very small and uniform.

50x50 is what there doing like before. the pictures are just uniform which is fine as long as they fix the mismatching background. we could do like before and have members make and submit there own.

It was better, trust me. You could have nearly 20 icons or so and it wouldn't even take as much space as it does now with 9.

i guess it's just my opinion. i would rather have 9 50x50 then 20 25x25 icons

I could deal with 9 50x50 icons if they weren't properly done. Scaled properly with transparent bg's. The user title icon in my inventory is 32x31.

You can hide that icon if you want, which is what I did. It won't look good with the other icons.

Yeah, the other currently available icons don't look very good, but the icons that have been submitted in the icon request thread look much better.
