Hey everyone!
I wanted to take this opportunity to let you all know that I made the decision to step Comatosed down from Community Manager to admin. Very simply, we have rules in place about the amount of activity of senior staff members, and we absolutely have to make sure that we are filling them with active people. This is true for absolutely any position. Comatosed has not been able to dedicate the time to the position, so it was time to change it up.
He has decided to leave the community based on this, and I absolutely wish him all the best and thank him for all of his work for PSU over the years.
We are at the cusp of a PSU revival. We've finally managed to get back all the features that were lost during the VB4 upgrade so many years ago, and are on our way to having a successful forum back in place. We're doing well on the content side of things, ad sales have been doing great... overall we are on a path to success.
I know that it has been a long and bumpy road. For that, I'm extremely sorry. DO note though that we are in an extremely strong position, and if we all stick together and keep at it we'll be charging ahead forwards in no time.
Decisions like this aren't something that I take lightly, and do note that I always do everything with the best interests of the community in mind. I encourage each and every one of you to speak out to me with issues you have, problems you see, or whatever else might be on your mind. I can't promise I'll answer you quickly, but I will absolutely always eventually deal with whatever it is.
This is and always will be an amazing place to be. I hope that you all get a chance to check out some of the new enhancements, and we'll be doing our best to roll out more as time goes on.
Thanks again, and sorry for being so quiet lately myself. Been working on stuff in the back end again.![]()

I'm under the impression not everything that is meant to be in place, is, in place... just yet. Or is everything that is meant to be done, done - so are we free to start moaning about stuff not working properly?

here is the deal... we have a lot of things that need member input and we will be asking about. the basics are in place.
the shop will get some icons tonight, with more to come. there are other shop options we can enable as well, so it will have more to do.
this will be a growing feature set.
however, if you see something obviously broken, we would like to know about it!

A big loss for the forums today. Ultimately, it is for the best. Coma clearly has more pressing issues these days, and it's better for us to accept those and relieve him of his duties than to keep him around if he simply can't put in the time anymore.
Was definitely one of the most active SMC's, moderators, admins, and community managers the site has seen.SchaffinOSX

he made the decision to delete his own account and leave. not us. he was still admin after Mr. B's decision, still staff, just not in the role he had previously filled.
there is no bringing him back, but if he wants to come back into the member community, that will be his choice!

What a shame. Coma was a great guy, and I wish him luck with his life. Didn't he become inactive to begin with due to having a child?

My personal opinions are not endorsed by PSU. But they should be.

Look guys, I will tell it how it is, I never new Coma, never spoke to him and I did respect what he did for the site BUT to leave the community on the note that he has (because he got demoted) Shows how much he really cared for the community. I understand that real life does come first, that was why he was hardly here anymore, you know it doesnt take no longer than 5- 10 minutes to pop in once in a while to tell those that care how life is treating him. He knew he had friends here and to leave the community forever (Have his account deleted) to me shows how much he cared about you guys.
This is just my opinion on the matter, be it right or wrong dont flame me bitches
Mrbishop, I thank you for all you have done for this forum and look forward to being a member here for many many more years. Thank you to the staff too, keep up the great work guys.

Thanks for the update Mr B. While i am very happy that the site is going from strength to strength, and looking better than it has for a very long time, i am gutted that Coma has left, he was one of my first PSN friends and the one of the best members this site has ever had, you will be missed Comatoast, you will always have friends in the BnW
