Is it just me or have they ruined hip firing? Theres been instances when someone is right infront of me and i've decided to hip fire them as ADS would have been inappropriate but it seems my bullets went either side of them

Admittedly i've not unlocked stead aim yet but i swear even with out hip firing was decent enough. I'm in love with the MP5 again though!

UMP45 is the real sh1t guys. Even for medium range, or even long range if you have the proficiency set.


edit: just tried the PP90M1, gosh these weapons are overpowered.

I've noticed it too. Hip firing with Assault Rifles at close range are practically useless imo.

Ahem, umm, can you kill your own team with predator missiles lol? Because I aimed the missile to three 'guys' who were running close to each other only to have somebody from the enemy team to get the triple kill. I'm confused because I thought they were enemies but have assassin perk on; they weren't targeted by my missile, but I saw them.

It's either a glitch, or they were actually my teammates and I blew up a car near them and THAT got them killed, but since I can't kill my teammates the triple kill automatically went to a random person from the other team.

What do you think?

Possibly could have blown up a car. But I don't think the missles can actually kill your teammates.

I think once you go to mission select it tells you how many there is in each and how many you have obtained.

PSN down for anyone?
Whenever I try to sign in I get an almost-immediate error that says: "An error has occured. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network. (8071053D)"

It's even not trying to reconnect. I haven't heard of a scheduled maintenance of that is the case.


edit: nvm, there's an update I need to do. I thought they would tell me that I have to update my ps3 or even force me to do it. Weird.

edit2: uh the problem and the error still persist even after updating my ps3.

edit3: It works just fine now. Had to create a new connection.

Unlocked first prestige and I'm LV52 now. Just completed the Death From Above challenge(Winning Killcam with AC13,) it is now my favorite title/emblem.
Accuracy 19.80%, KTD 1.43 and Killstreak 16
Been playing a lot lately.

The game doesn't always complete challenges even when you do them; I got Pave Low winning killcam and still didn't get the challenge for that, had to do it one more.
Also I cannot seem to be able to do the Fast Swap challenge. You have to hurt an enemy with primary then finish them with pistol. I did that hundred of times but no luck. Any ideas?

There are quite impossible challenges too, like killing an enemy with dropped package in winning killcam, lol how would anyone do that?

I'm level 78, just got hold of the FAD assault rifle and I love it, reminds me of my cherished TAR-21.
I'm considering not prestiging (straight away anyway) because I know if I do I'll be hooked till I reach rank 80 and I want to get back to BF3 or at least juggle the 2 games.

Had a great game earlier, went 30-3 on Fallen, had a 31-5 a couple of days ago too.

Just started using the P90/Rapid Fire with Marathon, Hardline and Steady aim with the specialist strike package of Slight of hand, Scavenger and the one that allows you to switch weapons quickly. If your not fussed about not gaining air support i recommend using this class as you just get powerful very quickly/

Yeah, I get as many kills with the specialist package as I do with heli's and preds. I switch to if if it's a lobby of air support blower uppers.

They show your rank in previous CoD games starting with CoD4, then World at War, MW2, and Black Ops. If you've played any of those 4 the rank you got to should show. Like mine, I have 0 prestige level icons for CoD4 and WaW, prestige 2 icon for MW2 and prestige 1 icon for BlOps.

That is neat. Do you always use Marksman with SMGs, or because you just entered a new prestige? In my opinion, Stalker can be very handy.
I also see that you're trying not to be too careful like some of the dudes mentioned here about your gameplay, which is good, but you need a bit more offensiveness. I don't know if it is the mode you're playing, because I can't remember the last time I played TDM; compared to the modes at hand, it is boring as hell. I'm almost always playing Free-For-All.

Yeah, I used Marksman because I just prestiged and that's about all that helps me. I don't use Stalker because I rarely aim while moving hehe. I was being cautious though. My aim isn't exactly that good hehe. I'll upload a FFA in just a few...

You got screwed out of quite a few kills by only getting assists, and you use your mini map very well. My only advice would be to just work on improving your aim.
