PS3 Slim Powers on for only a few seconds. No warning lights

I have read a lot of posts but nothing like what I have. If you plug in the power you will get the the red standby light. Press the power button and it will go green for about 3 seconds, will power off and will not respond. Nothing shows on the screen.

I can do a fan test but it will not go into safe mode.

I have replaced the power supply but still have the same issue. Here is a video of what happens.

Hmmm, that's weird. The only thing I can think of is that a wire may have come loose inside the system inself?

Hey.....I had something like that before. Just do it again and pay real close attention to the light. Right at the end, it may need to be dark in the room. When tried that way I saw it turn yellow.....I'm smokin one for ya, but hey Christmas is coming.

That happened to my slim and there is a fix you can do on the PSU. Mine broke and I had to fix it. If you search it on YouTube you'll find a tutorial on it

Thanks but this is the older style power supply. I have the newer style without the adjustment screws.

I have also replaced the power supply with a known good one; I still have the same issue in my original post.

Uhm, another thing that can help is.... Are you using a extension? Maybe your power extension that comes from wall is dead and can't provide enough power? It happened to me. In same coord i had speakers, laptop, clocked pc,router and all other kinds of things. Power coord gave up, router didnt want to start anymore as well, only for a few secs. Plugged router straight into wall, voila, worked. Try the same solution if you are using extension.
