i cant read any posts as this new feature blocks right hand side of all posts, it hovers there as you scroll down

And when you continue to scroll in either direction the whole thing disappears and automatically you are jumped to about the middle of the thread. I was not able to reproduce them displaying over the text so maybe that was just a cache issue or something? I'll grab a screenshot if to happens again.

Seems to work fine under Mac OS 10.7.1 and Safari 5.1.1 though. Again, I'll take a screenshot if I notice anything but it is possible there are issue there as well since both browsers are based on Webkit and uses much of the same code.

yeah, that would help because right now, i run the most basic netbook with chrome and have never had a problem with the sidebar stuff. Firefox, IE, all of it works fine.

We need to try and find commonalities to try and fix these issues, but everyone needs to report their configurations.

the only issue i seem to be getting is that the forum seems to keep logging me out quite often now as i move from thread to thread? i'm using IE on windows 7 professional with service pack 1 on HP probook with 64 bit OS

I think the clipping issue has something to do with your browser.
I had the same problem, where the side banner would block the ends of posts.

Hold Ctrl and press - or + on your keyboard,
on the page you're having an issue with.
See if that helps.

Our thoughts behind 365 days is that there is a lot of news that might be related to forum topics that might be a bit older.

I understand your reasoning. Though for me (just a preference), I saw a related article on the side the other day. It mentioned something about Kinect and Move sales. I was like ooooh, new information! So I clicked on it, to find out it was from March or May. I was like FUCKKKKK...

And I as I type this, one says Devil May Cry related project in the works. So of course, I think there IS a Devil May Cry project in the works that I didn't know about. But alas, it was from July and wasn't anything new about it.

I see the good and bad in it. I guess it would be cool to be able to pick (by user) how far back the articles go that are displayed and related.

After a solid amount of time observing this feature, I can safely say that I like the idea. This kind of integration is nice, it helps to pull together the forums and the front site.

I can happily say that because of the new feature, I've actually done a bit more exploring of the front page than I normally do. A good feature, that could only be improved if it would stop occasionally overlapping things.

Yup, I love it. One of the best new ideas. Needs a bit of tweaking for old content, but otherwise, very welcome addition.
