Vulgotha, that a gif? This movie was always creepy lol.

Pretty cool to see the guys helmet cave in but with something that completely took over. Also, they run into some critters on board... The evolved facehuggers apparently (and if vulgotha is right on that).

The interesting and new bit of info at least I thought, "they were leaving" clearly past tense... Part of the incident probably. Yet in the movie they're leaving again? Hmmm...

Yep, Ridley mentions the SJs aren't so civilized.... I dunno about you guys but that's interesting. Advanced civilization doesn't mean it's "civilized". Probably why they have bio-weapons like the Xenos and so forth.

The guys helmet just... Melts. Presumably this is Milburn when he goes to screw with the Facehugger\Cobra thing and it gets into his suit. If you watch the .gif you can make out some rims of glasses.

Ugh, having a helmet melt and just.. Graft to your face?

Pretty sure this is how Milburn dies.. From the sounds of it, I don't know how in the HELL Scott was ever intending this movie to EVER be rated anything but 'R'.

This may be Fifield or someone else entirely. Look in the upper left hand corner, you can see the guy wearing glasses. Only Milburn is wearing glasses on the expedition (or even out of the entire crew). Confusing..

I don't think it's Fifield who has the glass melt on his face though. Could be wrong.

Read it, and people aren't convinced it's real. We'll see, personally I have doubts.

It could still be watered down somewhat, and they just slapped a rated-r sticker to appease fans. Since some were considering not even bothering with the movie being PG-13.

Yea, I had serious doubts they could pull a 'PG-13' rating out of the MPAA with that scene. It makes me wonder if Scott was kind of gunning for an 'R' rating privately the whole time, and just spewing stuff about wanting a PG-13 one to tow the company line. I just don't see how they could have thought THAT scene alone would not have had to hit the cutting block.

And there are probably many other scenes like that one or worse. It just doesn't add up. Expectations were clearly divorced from reality.

tldr; He and Fox were delusional about the rating for this movie, MPAA being hypocritical ass hats aside.

Just saw the trailer for the first time on tv (UK), and, tbh, it wasnt a patch on the other trailers that i have seen. Seemed to have lost the suspense?
If i didnt know anything about this movie and i saw that trailer i dont think i would have been too impressed.
