    And what will retailers think of this?

    Sony need to be careful - they rely on the retailer to stock, market (communicate benefits to the potential customer) and thus sell their products.

    The last thing they want is to piss them off and have a weak Vita section in retailers giving the Vita extremely low customer floor presence and thus low marketing/brand power.

    I really hope this turns out to be true. While I do enjoy purchasing a physical copy of any product, the reason I haven't embraced digital downloads fully is because of the price. If I don't have a physical copy of any product in my hand, I don't feel I should have to pay full price for it.

    If this is the case then I have no problem dropping over $100 on a 32gb card.

    I do. No way I'm spending that much.. I'll get an adapter and microSDHC for half the price, and same size or more.

    That's where the VITA memory cards come in...

    Do you really think retailers will be happy selling memory cards for the Vita?

    There needs to be a strong software presence to entice retailers and consumers alike.

    Being undercut on the PSN will make management at retail think twice.

    Sony need to support retail as much as possible in this economic downturn rather than going cold on them.
