I got a "notification" for using the term "M$" because it was considered a "fanboy term". HuH? I mean of all the things to get on to somebody about, that really seems like a waste of time.
I know some changes just went on in this forum but I didn't pay much attention to them, but this is what you came up with?

If I recall correctly, it's been this way for a good number of years now.

yea sometimes it gets caught, sometimes not I guess.
I guess you can't say $ony either lol. I've seen someone say that before.
You can't call out someone anymore, shit I used to do that all the time.
That's probably the only thing. Can't think of anything else.Praise the lord for Ni No Kuni!

That's lame. I thought we were here to express feelings and whatnot? I find it funny, though, if I said that as well I'd be labeled a fanboy even though I own all the systems. lol!

Eh, personally I find the give a cookie, get a cookie attitude to be far more annoying lol
You probably wouldn't have got in trouble if you also added "$ony" in the same post due to some stupid fucking reason that all must be held equal. Granted that's usually upheld by normal users, not mods but it's the cause of most derailmentsif I am in the PS3 or 360 section I will NOT post about the competitor just to please people, if you want to know what I think about the competitor link me to a thread in the appropriate section

It is quite funny that this forum punishes MS haters more than Sony haters.

Yeah, the mods seem to get on people about the small stuff. Like how they made note on how that same thread started becoming a Xbox JRPG/Key visual novels thread.
Honestly I saw Versus's post as a "Xbox only gets all our good Playstation exclusive JRPGs bcuz M$ secretly bribe the crap out of everybody" kind of post. That is what I saw in it.私は日本語がわかります。図書館で読みます。ビール飲みます。

That's stupid. This is a Playstation forum. Granted other people have other consoles and PCs. But its still a PS site.

Its just fanboy terminology and can be used to flame.
The rule about such terminology, Microsoft or Sony, as stated in this thread already, has been in place for a number of years. There is nothing constricting about removing such terms as you can still make a completely valid point or argument without its use

That is one of the most ridiculous 'gripes' I've come across in a while.

MS (with the dollar sign replacing S, as it is my opinion that Microsoft have alot of money) <-- this is a workaround for your issue

Using M$ is fanboy terminology and that's against the rules.
Just call them MS or MicroSoft, there is no big deal with this.
