Meh... Final Fantasy XIII got 8s and 9s while Lost Odyssey got 6s and 7s. I'll be the judge myself. I'll rent first before I buy.

No one doubted Famitsu wouldn't give a SE game a high score. I'd be more surprised if they had given it a 30.

According to adrianseng (http://andriasang.com/comz82/famitsu_reviews/) it got three 10s and one 9. Which is funny because the same article says the reviews mention that XIII-2 fixes the problems from the first. But if the first had issues, why was it given a 39/40? But still, it does show some promise.

FFXIII got fairly good reviews (8s and 9s) and I would imagine FFXIII-2 going a step further.
I see it getting 9s.

They gave 39/40 for FFXIII so this doesn't tell much to me.

They're handing out perfect scores way too easily... This is just flat-out ridiculous. I guess the scales of a perfect game compared to a crappy game has really changed.

He means that Famitsu rates anything SE highly. FFXIII which fans generally detest scored a 39/40 from them....I remember when Famitsu was one of the harder markers in the gaming industry... Originally Posted by Nuvian

Theres not a single gamer anywhere that should take this review seriously because Famitsu is the most FF fanboy indunced organization for scores in the world.
If FFXV came out and feature two bisexual hyenas and a tiny elephant they would still give it a perfect scrore.
XIII-2 looks like a big apology for the original game. The only thing that's 40/40 to me are Serahs boobs poping out of her chest in some cutscenes.
