Most people that have brought up their favorite video game system attributed it to the selection of games it had to offer at the time anyway. So I'm not sure what PC games having the best graphics and better framerate have to do with this thread. Especially when you bring up the fact that you need a decent gaming computer to achieve those results in the first place.

Far too many brilliant consoles to narrow it down to a single platform for me, as each console I have owned had their own unique merits.

When pushed though, it would be either the Dreamcast, Super Nintendo or GameCube.

Nothing will beat the Amiga 500 to me. So many awesome games it's not funny. I had probably 200+ floppy disks back in the day all with awesome games.

    SimCity
    Deluxe Paint
    SpeedBall
    Gods
    Monkey Island
    Civilization
    SuperCars
    SuperFrog
    Lemmings
James Bond 007: Live and Let Die
    Silkworm

    Far too many to list.

This is a tough one. All of them are pretty awesome. It's a tie between ps2, ps1, dreamcast, nes and snes. Although not a system, i have to give a shout out to arcades. Had a hell of a time in those places

Well, you know they remade a miniture Amiga 500 but with updated ports and an SD cardslot called the MiniMig, but I think the company has stopped building them

Started with PC, went to PS3-PSP and now I've come back to PC. Needless to say, the Personal Computer is my favorite

I would have to say the Dreamcast, just the ability to look at porn on my TV from the Dreamcast back then was win.
