PSU Server Move - Minor Update

It has been increasingly obvious that some of you are growing very tired of the influx of new traffic at certain points of the day.

We know this is a pain, truly. It affects all of us.

I spoke with Mr. B and we are looking at about two weeks to begin the server move. This date is not etched in stone, but rather the closest approximation we have right now as to time frame. Remember people, the staff here have families and vacations at the holidays just like anyone else. When the new year is upon us, and everyone is back in full force, we will have a better idea of when the shift will take place.

Prior to the move, some important security measures are being put in place to ensure site safety as well. Nothing you as members will notice, but it is making for a more secure PSU.

What I am asking of you now is to just bear with us. Yes, it sucks. Yes, it is being worked on, but with the holidays, we are just having to push it back a little.

Also, please do NOT make anymore threads on this. We know it is slow, we know there are times when 4000+ guests are here. We know. Making new threads will not solve it.

Growing pains are exactly that, a pain, but they do go away. Stick with PSU and see what the new year brings!

Yeah guys please if you can bear with us. I know we say that a lot, but when we say it we really do mean it. This server move is going to solve everything for us and we'll look back on these times and laugh. You can mark my words on that.

Alrighty, so word is the guys are actively working on the server move as we speak. Plans are to battle the load for now, and inside of a month have the new server solution in place.

We are keeping on top of this folks, so please just bear with us while the programmers get this place ready for the move!
