i am buying it! for one the gunplay from gameplay clips resembles confrontation (which i loved excluding all the glitches)! and then this trailers....so its umbrella corp vs civilians (badass) vs zombies? nice

That trailer looks freakin awesome! I just have to see a lot more gameplay footage before i decide to buy or not, because lets face it, Resident Evil 4 and 5 were definately not Resident Evil games. When i think Resident Evil, i think ZOMBIES first and foremost, my second thought is that 4 and 5 completely sucked, and my third thought is that 2 and 3 were awesome!

Just make another animated film out of it (like Regeneration) and call it a day.

This game won't have anything to do with survival horror.

The CG trailer makes the game look great, but I want to see gameplay to at least somewhat back it up and prove this isn't more like "CoD with zombies" than a Resident Evil game.

EDIT: more bonus weapons for pre-ordering from a certain store - I hate that. Costumes are fine, weapons that give you an edge over other players is bullshit.

No, this is a spin-off game developed by Slant Six Games, set in the same time frame as Resident Evil 2 and 3 during the T-Virus outbreak.

Resident Evil 6 hasn't been officially confirmed yet but there has been a lot of indications on the net the past few months that it's in development.

Anyway, the trailer above looks great, i'll admit. Great to see all the classic B.O.W.'s such as the Lickers and Mr. X present, though it's just CGI. You can make a poor game look great with a big of fancy CG, but the final product is what counts. And sadly, from what I've seen, Operation Raccoon City looks very mediocre in action.

I played some coop of this at E3 and absolutely loved it. If you're into coop third-person shooter kind of stuff (Army of Two, etc), it's worth looking forward to. Fighting against other dudes with guns while trying to manage the monster-style enemies is an interesting dynamic that worked pretty well. I only played coop, but I hope that during competitive modes like TDM you still have to deal with zombies, etc.

Not a fan of Capcom's "westernize our big IP's with C rate studios" plan they've got going on. Gameplay I've seen thus far is very mediocre.
