    no worries! i love ND, despite gameplay changes i am still very excited and you should be too. i look forward to the father/ daughter relationship focus (and of course their guns, don't ever leave home w/ out it!) life is simply more fun w/ guns.

    I don't see why not. Is that some unwritten rule? It's up to the devs to prove that it can I guess. RDR had a pretty good story I thought.

    RDR is one of my favourites games this gen. I didn't say they can't have good stories, but rather how the story is presented. If I present a scenario, restrict the player and force him to experience as I envisioned it, that will have much more of an impact compared to if I allow him to wander around aimlessly, killing random people doing goofy stuff.

    Freedom can easily break the momentum of the story, that is very hard to achieve in the first place.

    That lack of a hold on someone can just drive the story teller to make it much more hard hitting.. that's what I'd like to see. Wonder off the main trail, and when you return, BAM! Hit 'em with it hard. I understand what you're saying, and you're right about restrictions making a player experience only what the storyteller wants.
