I'm the opposite, I thought it looked pretty good. Though RE4 is my favourite of the franchise, and RE5 was rather enjoyable also.. especially in co-op with a friend.
The HUD seems.. interesting, though.

I'm not too sure about the light on Leon's head, but it makes sense I guess. The lighting is pretty good, graphics... well, hard to tell because of video quality and it was so dark lol
Either way, I'll be getting it. I hope it turns out great

Funny how at the end the guy demoing the game decided to shoot every Zombie except for the one attacking the woman.
The game seems like it will be more interesting than RE5 gameplay-wise. Visually, it looks...okay. It's good enough for me and...mostly on par with what we see this gen but let's say it won't win any Graphics awards. I remember from other gameplay vids that the hair looked kind of weird. But again, I'm more about gameplay so I don't care much about details like that.
Seems like a more faithful entry but it's still gonna be juiced with over-the-top action-y stuff.

Looks pretty good too in my opinion, although I'm not too big of a fan on how close the camera view on Leon is, but I'm sure they'll give you the option to change that? I hope so because its gonna bug the crap outta me if you can't but other than that, looks like this game is gonna be a must for me! (:

Perhaps my expectations for this game are too high, but I'm underwhelmed. The game will be a good time, no doubt, but it doesn't seem to do anything new in regard to gameplay, and despite a few moments of good lighting, the visuals as a whole are less than impressive. As unimportant as it is, Leon's hair really bugged me.

Resident Evil 6 will certainly be a purchase for me, and I'm sure I'll enjoy it thoroughly. Nevertheless, I can't help but note that the game doesn't seem to do anything above and beyond its predecessors. Fingers crossed.SchaffinOSX

September is when we get the PS3 demo for RE6. Capcom just loves us PS3 players.......
Ugh just saw that they now know from the 360 demo that health is regenerating and not the old school have to find a herb. I am getting more and more bummed about this game. I loved the series but this just seems like it is become a whole different game. I am really missing the puzzles and the loneliness of the house in RE1.Hard work never killed nobody but I ain't taking any chances

As much as I used to hate running from enemies in desperate search of an herb, it really was one of the concepts that made the game great. So many games these days have a regenerating health system, and for some games that's absolutely fine, but for a survival horror game? It takes the aspect of survival out of it.

Yup, very lol.
Capcom also released the Comic-Con trailer today -- http://www.psu.com/a016149/Resident-...ic-Con-trailer
Seems to confirm the appearance of a classic B.O.W. that hasn't been seen since Resident Evil 1, too. Hardcore fans will know what i'm talking about.

Capcom's gone into a bit more detail on why the zombies are being brought back for Resident Evil 6.
Read more -- http://www.psu.com/a016288/Capcom-ex...esident-Evil-6
Resident Evil 6 head honcho Hiroyuki Kobayashi has shed light as to why Capcom has re-introduced zombies for the latest instalment in the venerable horror franchise.
Speaking during a chinwag with Siliconera, Kobayashi-san revealed that the rotting, shambling foes were brought back as they proved popular with fans -- apparently, people weren’t too happy they didn’t feature in Resident Evil 4 and 5.

I hope so. I beat RE5 on veteran no problem my first play through. Yea the game was fun but I was practically tripping over ammo and herbs. The more desperate I feel in a survival horror game the better. I remeber entering the castle of RE4 for the first time with less than a clip of handgun ammo. It was was so frustrating but amazing when I finally got through the area with nothing but stubborness and a handful of bullets. I want to face the horde and bludgeon my way out!

Somebody get me a doctor, I ain't feelin' ill ...But I ain't feelin' this at all...

RE: Revelations was probably the most difficult RE game in years. 4 and 5 were a cakewalk compared to the earlier games though; RE3 and RE Zero are definitely the hardest. Zero is crushing on the hardest setting, ammo and healing items are very scarce, it's the very definition of Survival Horror.

New screenshots!
Ada's campaign -- http://www.psu.com/a016414/New-Resid...Wong-in-action
Agent Hunt mode -- http://www.psu.com/a016415/Resident-...gent-Hunt-mode
I have to say i'm very impressed with Ada's campaign. For one it's solo-based (cannot stand forced co-op) and the environments evoke a classic RE feel. Plus, rotten-looking zombies are always a plus.
