Regarding the above link, Alex Wesker would certainly make sense and build on the story established in RE5's Lost in Nightmares chapter.
They also state in seemingly unequivocal terms that Sherry Birkin is the female blonde escorting the mysterious mercenary, however, i'm doubting this. Sherry was rumored to appeared in RE5, and various sources claimed it as fact and it turned out to be utter rubbish (it was actually Jill with blonde hair).

Dragon's Dogma is going to be this gen's Zone Of The Enders, i.e. the game everyone gets for the included demo (RE6/MGS2). Though I did really like ZOE.
Shut up and play games

True, but it's worth remembering that a few well-known gaming websites also reported that Sherry was in the game, and filed it under 'rumor.' The whole thing perpetuated as such for months on end -- I remember it well, as I even did a story for PSU on it.It wasn't rumored. People saw a blonde and instantly thought Sherry.
In fact, I believe there were two 'mystery blondes' who fans took for being Sherry. One is the infamous image of Jill in the test tube, and the other Allison, the blonde girl who gets infected early on in the game.

I could see why people thought it was Sherry as Jill was never blonde.
Im in the Sherry camp for RE6. There is a comparison shot of RE2 Sherry and the mystery blonde and the resemblance is striking. Also worth noting is the mystery blondes outfit. Blue and white - a throwback to RE2 Sherry? But also where there is Sherry there is Claire. But no mention of Claire yet.TV: Panasonic 50inch 1080P

I was leaning towards Ashley Graham originally, as Leon was forced to kill who I assume to be her infected father in the trailer, namely the U.S. President. However, this wasn't President Graham, but someone else, so that theory went on the window.
I would love it to be Sherry though, a nice throwback there to a largely forgotten character (or at least when you compare her to the likes of Chris, Jill, Ada etc). Claire would be good too, I agree, I think it would be a shame if she wasn't mentioned if Sherry is in the game.
To be honest, I was really hoping she'd be confirmed as a major player, as she's long overdue another appearance, having not appeared canonically since Code: Veronica in terms of the games.

I don't understand why people are all pissed off that you can shoot while you move. Granted this shouldn't be COD but to think it is unrealistic to shoot while moving is crazy. I have spent lots of time shooting while moving and while it is mostly used to lay down cover fire you can still be accurate while walking....running not nearly as much. To think that a mercenary couldn't walk and shoot is just plain dumb. Now...if it is just about making the game more difficult than I understand. I do believe that this game can be done and keep the horror and scariness. I hated the retreat and shoot mentality but that was just me. I am all for scary moments with zombies and parasites jumping out of no where or the feeling of overwhelming swarm.

I consider myself as 'old-school' as they come in regards to being a Resident Evil fan, though the concept of moving and shooting has never really bothered me.
Some fans view it as a cardinal sin, but I think there are far worse crimes that Capcom has committed. I mean, Dead Space allows you to move and shoot simultaneously, and that scared the hell out of me and felt more like an authentic survival horror experience than RE4 & 5.
Also, Resident Evil Outbreak: File #2 allowed you to move and shoot, and that was very much a 'classic' RE game in terms of core mechanics. Never bothered me at all.
Having said that, I have no qualms with the stop-and-shoot mechanics of old. I guess i'm happy either way.

Honestly, I don't care if you can/cannot move and shoot. I've also been a fan since RE1 and played the majority of RE games. As long as it's fun, it doesn't matter to me. I got over the fact it wasn't really scary anymore and now just see the series as a fun action game. I also probably put a lot more time into RE4 & 5 over any other RE game.

Resident Evil 6 Will See A Dialog System
This week’s Dengeki reported new information Resident Evil 6. Main subject of the article is the explanation of a dialogue system. Dengeki talked about the dialogues that will fit seamlessly into the game and how they will differ depending on the situation. What is not known is: how this work with the gameplay or how it will impact of the story.

It's good they have Chris and Leon in the same game, but they better have them cross paths at some point in time.
