I've missed something, what was Inzanes theory?

Oh BTW, the 360 got trolled because people felt the PS3 verison got delayed/dumbed down because it went multiplatform.

Yup...just as many of the negative posts are going to be from pissed off PS3 users as well...also gloaters that were tired of the 360 getting better ports looking to rub it in

I've heard they did a better job for the latest one. I must borrow the first one off my brother in-law sometime.

I just have to point out, FFXIII-2 is a much worse port this time around. I think Toriyama intentionally butchered the port as I have no idea how they managed to get the end result.

Anyways, my point is that a number of things can be used to gauge quality, all of which can be thrawt depending on what best suits you at the time. One day, reviews of the general consensus matter; the next, it's "Xbox fans padded Lost Odyssey's score." It's all about what is convenient of the time that dictates how you will define "quality."
But when all is said and done, quality is still purely subjective.

And my other point is that Publishers try to control and influence reviews the best they can, just like movies or any other business. Reviews hold Publishers financially hostage in a few ways, including having a hold over there stock prices, and thus Publishers feel the need to intervene where they can.

Actually the worst thing publishers do, is those god awful review camps. Anybody that is forced to review a game based on their experience with it at the publishers pleasure being holed up in a motel for 3 days with a billion other reviewers is someone that is compromised.

Almost every over rated game that had recently been reviewed, you will find that it was done "under pressure".
