Grand Theft Auto 3 And Vice City Heading To PS3

The E.S.R.B. ? Early warning System for Releases, Baby! - has conveniently rated Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (PlayStation 3) and Grand Theft Auto 3 (PlayStation 3).
No news if these are HD remakes or the PS2 version made to run on the PS3 but whatever they are, the news has made a lot of people happy including our very own CC_Star.
?GTA3 & GTA:VC on PS3? F*** YES!!!! Don?t care for GTAV now,? he said.

We played the recent iPad port a while back and quite liked it, but proper controls will make this a remake worth having, for sure. We?ll let you know if Rockstar fire out any more info.

99% sure these are PS2 Classics, don't care though I'm replacing my discs. Would've obviously preferred HD, trophies and online but oh well. Better bring SA next though.

The fuck is up with those rereleases of PS2 games without any improvements?
If i wanted the classic feeling i'd play these on my PS2.

Looks like F34R was right all along, they took away PS2 compatibility so they can cash in a second time for the same game.

They couldve easily readded the PS2 parts to the slims but didn't so yeah. Having said that, I'm replacing all my PS1 discs with PSN versions and will do am doing the same with PS2 discs so either way it doesn't bother me but they definitely need to get more of the niche PS2 Classics on there.

Yep! Looks like KZ is setting the trend. Now it looks like we can most probably kiss these HD collections goodbye. Why put the time in to make it in HD when you can pass it to Sony and let them sell it on the store for $20 bucks a game. Fortunately I still have a 60 GB to play on if I need be.

Of course its gonna be HD, they aren't just gonna release the originals as they are..they only do that with the PS1 games.

This is great news if indeed they are remade in HD. I'm glad that they just remade 3 and VC were the best of the series. IMO, R* lost it's way with GTA when they made SA.
