As most of you know, PSU has been around for some time. Sure it's had different names of the years, but it has always been an excellent place for PS3-centered discussion. Over the course of the years, the leaders of the website have changed drastically. From administrators, moderators, to SMCs, the face of the staff here has changed (and shrunk) tremendously over the past several years.

Little do you know, some of the people that you see posting around as regular members used to be staff members, too. Let's take a moment to remember some of the past leaders of PSU:

Work, school, work, school...rinse and repeat. Wish I had some spare time now and then to get back into the DS.
I do a few sigs every now and then but it's only for forum friends and direct requests! Man, I miss the 2007-2009 period of these forums.

Shame. I have hope for PSU's future, though. Bishop is doing an amazing job at pulling this place together and getting more new members in. Once we get over the technical hiccups this site has, I think we'll see a continuing trend of growth. The PSU of yesterday was a lot of fun, but that doesn't mean the PSU of tomorrow can't be better.

Yeah, but we had our best turnout in 2010. Specifically with the 100th SOTW.

Nowadays, we get about 4 to 5 entries with maybe 20 people voting.

Yea, the old staff offed me for a bit. Trib restored me once the old administration left though.

While most of their reasoning was dubious, one aspect which was difficult was that I was in Australia for a month so performing my was naturally sporadic in nature.

Used to be good fun owning the spammers. It was often a race when two or three staff were on at the same time. I'd get the posts, Mali or someone would get the ban etc..

It's actually easier to find this stuff than you'd think.

Definitely not like that anymore. We get very few reports. I suppose that's a good thing, though, yes?

Ok I'll guess I take the time to ask this. What's with some people having pink usernames? Admins, mods, SMC'c and DS I recognize but I don't understand the pink for some. x6teen does, Rapture and somebody else I'm thinking of. What is that?

About a year ago, the administration gave subscribers the option to either have the gold username (as you do), or the pink username. I'm pretty sure that all you have to do is ask an administrator and you could have your username changed to pink. Pink used ​to be the color of the Community Manager back in the Dave days, but that has since changed to black.
