I got the demo a few hours ago and it's really good.
If anyone else did, post your thoughts on the game and if there are any questions I'll happily answer.

Ah well then a few thoughts:
The demo is split into two parts: the very beginning of the game, and the section they showed numerous times
The graphics have definitely been improved. Some human character models/animations look weird, but the main cast looks great. Ashley especially looks amazing.
Combat/Sound design
The weapons all feel great and man do they sound great too. I definitely applaud BW for that. I like the soundtrack. The combat is way faster and more challenging thanks to the new enemy variations and never felt cheap. The only gripe I have is sometimes you want to go into cover and you roll instead. I can see that being a pain on insanity.
The weapons you get are the Eviscerator Shotgun, Tempest SMG, Avenger/Mattock AR, and the predator pistol. There's no Sniper Rifle at all in the demo.
Health is handled like in Resistance 1, you have several blocks (5) and as long as a block has some life left it'll refill. If there is none, it won't.
Medi-gel heals Shepard again and revives squadmates.
Squadmates can be revived by Shep now by going up to them and holding down A to get them back in the fight.
You can now map squad powers to your controller (Left/Right on d-pad). I found this pretty great actually, since I was able to use the more common ones without having to stop the flow of combat.
Special melee attacks:
Each class has a new power:
That's mostly it that I can think of. There were no paragon/renegades choices, armor customization, or weapon customization also. Although, you do find pieces for both during the demo.
Oh and Garrus/Liara have unique powers.
Garrus can throw proximinity mines and Liara can cast statis (Which is still really good. You can actually damage enemies now while they're in statis and after enough damage it'll break then they'll be on the ground).
Plus, how many weapons you carry effect your cooldown rate. The less weapons you have the faster your powers regenerate.Last edited by LastManDancing; 02-12-2012 at 18:29.

I believe there's Microsoft Expertzone, but here's an app on facebook where you can get the demo code. I got it on my first try, but I read a lot of people having trouble. I tried again earlier, but failed.

I don't believe the multiplayer is up yet.
More about the demo. Sabotage is back, it prevents enemies from firing and can also hack machines.Last edited by LastManDancing; 02-12-2012 at 01:56.

I read online and people think they may have run out.

Anyway, here's a list of track files from the demo. I knew the soundtrack was good when playing, but am I blown away hearing them without being distracted with the game.

I just read the Game Informer impression of the Kinect Mass Effect 3 demo. They praised the Kinect for sure. The things that stick out...you don't have to stop/break gameplay to send your teammates or switch weapons. You can keep firing away and order your teammates to do things without bringing up the menu. Nice immersion there. They also mention how fast you can save just by saying "quick save" while playing so that you don't have to pause or stop the game. It also recognized everything they said without error.
If you got the new GI, check it out. They go into more depth.

Quick save sounds really good, but giving squadmates commands with your voice won't cut it on the higher difficulties.
I'd rather tap left on the d-pad for Garrus concussive shot during battle then say it out loud in the heat of battle, but it's preference and kudos for Bioware for at least implementing it. Controller is more practical.I talk to myself because I'm the only one whose answers I accept.

I was going to hold off getting this game because I have a bunch of other games I want to play. After the demo I realized again how awesome it is to be Shepard. I think I'm going to go pre-order the game tomorrow.

Not sure how I feel right now;
Single Player: Pretty good, lot of improvements that I like. Love that you can map a third key now instead of it being assigned for you. Sadly didnt get as pumped as I thought I would, End of ME2 got me more pumped. Does anyone know wtf happened between ME2 and 3? At the start your not the commander of the Normandy
Multiplayer: Was not what I expected, I dont know what I was expecting but a horde-like mode was not it.
Either way I cant wait till this drops, I SHOULD have it preordered but I' got bullshitted out of my FF13-2 preorder so I wont hold my breath

Well I'm away from my PS3 right now, and if my plan works out I won't be around it until a few days before Mass Effect 3 drops. I just downloaded the demo on my pc, I hope it can handle it (at least on shitty/medium settings). The music sounds really good, not what I was expecting from a video game, very original.
I am really pumped for Mass Effect 3.

Demo was meh.... The damage system needs to be fixed ASAP!!!! many times I didnt know I was getting shot at and then all of a sudden I would just die!!!!! Multiplayer was very lame/boring. I loved ME1 and ME2, but I REALLY hope they didnt reduce single player content and replace it with Multiplayer....... Also, not a big fan of the omniblade
