"the source is exemplary, 100 per cent concrete, ultra high level"
Yup that definitely makes it plausible... NOT

Almost everyone will say: buy console that has games that you want, and those who say otherwise are ignorant.

Playstation Move for the win!

"the source is exemplary, 100 per cent concrete, ultra high level"?... That sounds like what a third grader would say

This was already debunked by Sony, so the article is complete fabrication, lol.
http://pushstartselect.com/2012/sony/During a reporter roundtable at this year’s CES, the Wall Street Journal approached Sony executive Kaz Hirai about the possibility of a Playstation 4 announcement at this year’s E3. He quickly debunked the rumor. ”Andy (House) is absolutely right in that we are not making any announcements at E3. I’ve always said a 10-year life cycle for PS3, and there is no reason to go away from that.”
Journalism is getting pretty bad on the internet.

MS and Sony have both claimed there will be nothing new this E3.

Sony isn't going to announce the announcement. That would completely defeat the purpose, haha. Sony will say there absolutely no plans for the PS4. That is until they announce it. So the PS4 @ E3 can actually be a very real thing.

Well, if it does indeed end up releasing sooner rather than later, at least ps3 game prices will go down so I can catch up on everything I missed out on the last 5 years lol

I can see MS revealing something, things seemed to be geared toward that. But Sony seems more of a mixed bag. A tech demo perhaps (or at least I'd hope)

For what it's worth, Nintendo did that last year with the Wii U. But for whatever reason, gaming outlets still chose to question if it indeed was a new console. But this is a completely different situation. It was obvious the Wii was dieing. The PS3 can go on for a few more years and still has regular releases.

The Wii has never been dying tho. There isn't any reason for thinking that.

So do you think when the PS4 releases next year that will be the end of PS3? They will still support the PS3 as they have done with the PS2 when the PS3 was released, also they still supported the PS1 when the PS2 was released. Is this really so hard to understand? I always see someone post this when there is a mention of the PS4 releasing soon. Please people think about it for fuck sake.

Haha This! The 10 year life span claim by Sony is both confidence in the future proof nature of the tech and also confidence for the consumer to know that their investment will see ongoing support for times to come. Infact Sony stated a minimum of 10 years for the PS3 life cycle.
