Man I'd love the play a demo of that, been hearing a lot of good things about it! I've never played MGS3 so maybe I'll have to give it a quick whirl on the MGS HD Collection

MGS3 is the crown jewel in the MGS series for most. Well a toss up between that and the original MGS.

It says the full game won't be available in stores until that date (it says that for all retail games, ignore that), the demo is available, downloading it right now.

Well, I played and liked it, but...this game wasn't meant for a 3DS and not because I dislike the gameplay, but because the controls are clunky and truly awkward to use.

A bit better since it would unclutter the face buttons, since they are used in a way similar to Syphon Filter on the PSP, although there weren't that many actions in that game as in MGS. Rolling with R, crouching with down, changing weapons with left and right? Hm...that's not really Metal Gear. I mean, maybe I should give it another try, but it simply feels clunky as opposed to having two analogues.

Yeah I agree the controls didn't feel right, especially aiming with X, Y, B ,A made it difficult when shooting. Was great to see it in 3D but don't think I'd buy it, anyway I've got the MGS HD Collection so wouldn't need to.

I loved the demo. The graphics in 3D was the best out of it though. I'll probably want to get this now

The game controls really well with the Circle Pad Pro, no problems there. That said, I'll probably give this one a pass. The only portable MGS I might consider getting is MGS "HD" Collection for Vita. I just noticed while playing this demo that, while I enjoyed the games in the past, I just don't have it in me to replay them anymore.
