Did Sony Just confirm The Existence of UNCHARTED 4?

God of War 4, Uncharted 4, Assassins Creed whatever, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, FFXIII-3, MGS5, and more will be the swansongs of PS3, I guarantee it

This. LOVE Uncharted but 3 proved they pretty much maxed this gen and now there is a Vita title. I also hope U4 is a PS4 laucn/early title.

They won't make anymore than 4, they'll move onto something new next gen and maybe carry on the last of us to next gen. If sales were the only thing that mattered we'd still be seeing Crash Bandicoot from them considering it did 7/8 mil+ each, more than Uncharteds 5/6 mil.

Actually, I heard that TLOU is meant to be a stand alone, self contained story, and they also said that as long as people keep buying the Uncharted series games they'll continue to make them. That's just what I read a while back, I believe they should keep the series going, as there could be so many more stories they could do.

I kinda wouldn't mind an episodic approach to Uncharted. As I said elsewhere, they need to explore other themes though, not just some treasure hidden somewhere. ND have the skills to pull off some really gritty badassery, though I guess TLOU will be the context for that. But yeah, episodic Uncharted games with enough innovation and development of well established gameplay mechanics.

there's no doubt, uncharted 4 will certainly be a ps4 title. u3 multiplayer is a blast, can't wait for u4 multiplayer!!!

Whatever it is I am excited. At the moment there is no other series that gives what Uncharted gives in my opinion. Fantastic story, graphics and gameplay. Bring on the next!

How you figure that? there probably wont be a new Sony console until end of 2013 or first half of 2014 at the earliest.

Uncharted 4 for holidays 2013 makes perfect sense, although i would want the franchise to evolve a bit more this time around.

I'd prefer another this gen. Not too keen on ps4 just yet, I don't that many substantial improvements can be made, like they made from ps2 to ps3
