I have been playing some more of MP recently and I must say that it can be quite fun when you pick the class best suited to your game style, and play with three other people.
Looks like this could turn out just like Uncharted. A game that started out with no multiplayer, and later became one of the most fun multiplayer games that I played this generation.
The only problem with ME3 is that I can see the co-op getting old lot faster than competitive would(unless you are like Stoffinator who plays co-op games many many times), but that happens to every other co-op game including Gears Horde.
Some notable points:
- The more heavy weapons you pick, the slower your abilities will recharge. Logically this does not make much sense, but for balancing purposes, it makes perfect sense I guess
- Some powers seem to be quite strong(cryo blast) while others seem fairly useless (shockwave)

Almost everyone will say: buy console that has games that you want, and those who say otherwise are ignorant.

Playstation Move for the win!

I just played the demo today and i found it great... but as u said there was some small probs here and there, wich i'm pretty sure will not appear in the game when it comes out.... Knowing that they played that demo a month ago or so, as a preview for the game!

I think you're right in saying that Bioware should update their engine. I do recall a lot of the cutscenes (this includes Mass Effect 2) instances where the camera shifts from one side to another and the character models won't always load immediately. It's not game-breaking but it doesn't help with the immersion either.

Well, maybe it's the emphasis on improved animations and graphics that hinders the performance of the engine rendering stuff because I've never noticed character models not immediately loading in other video games. I do realize that it's a demo though so they'll probably fix it.

I really like the demo, especially the multiplayer. But it did have issues. Anyone else have these?
- Connection lost errors
- When trying to find a quick match, it will go to loading screen, then go to black screen (one time loaded the whole base) and get stuck on a Please Wait box.
- The Turian can't freaking roll! Why??
- Joining a game can sometimes be tedious.
That's all I have. Besides those issues, the MP is great!
Also loved the Single Player! But I really wish the walking wasn't so slow! Also, didn't like how the Reaper came into the cutscene, it just didn't look good, I don't know why.
Also, in the SP, did anyone look down the side of the building and see people running? The people look like they are 16-bit. They are running in a direction they're not facing. (For example, their body is facing right, but they are running straight.

seemed as bland as Mass effect 2

i find it to be a "bleh" action game, mixed with a "bleh" rpg. with a story that has been done a million times

So I take it we're not allowed to say anything bad about the demo? As for what kind of RPGs Funeralfog likes, why don't you take a look at his icons? The Legend of Zelda, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, and Final Fantasy XI.

Not really. I know that he isn't a big fan of traditional JRPGs either because I've called him out before on some of the comments he made but I can't expect him to like it either. It's clear to me that he likes some RPGs though. Ironically, the Mass Effect games (the sequels anyway) really can't be classified as RPG titles because there's a much larger emphasis on third-person shooter gameplay.

The stiffness was in me2 and is a staple of the unreal engine.Still a first day buy as only me and batman makes me tolerate the unreal engine.

The engine is horrible and bland. This is why I prefer exclusives on the PS3..Now as a game ME2 is a top 5 game for me,but it should have used the Uncharted engine for the PS3 version which is far superior.I could not believe how bad and outdated ME2 felt technically after going back and forth between ME2 and U2.It is dissapointing that devs are being held back on the PS3 because they are porting games instead of building them using better engines.

AHH i'm here you turds lol. i liked Knights of the old republic, and yes i didnt like fallout 3 i liked the old ones. i just can't get into mass effect. the characters don't interest me, the gameplay doesn't interest me. the movements are like cardboard cutouts, i find the story to be over done, and i don't care much about graphics unless they are unreal. sue me. i like generally turn-based Jrpgs which i haven't seen in what seems to be ages ago. and the ones i don't like usually are way too goofy for me to get into. unless it was intentional which is why i loved FFIX. Mass effect seems like halo IMO, and i bought the 2nd one and played the first one so it isn't just vague whining which i have done before don't get me wrong haha. and Blacksite was right that it's pretty much it is a third person shooter, and in my opinion isn't that good
and i whole heartedly agree with DarkNemesis' point about the engine
