Been playing Uncharted on my Vita and I've gotta say the graphics are amazing. Definitley a PS3 in your pocket. The touch controls are well done in Uncharted. Made the platforming pretty fun as well as the hand to hand fighting. Money well spent. I'll propably go buy Wipeout tomorrow.

Time for a supremely stupid question:
I've activated the data plan with AT&T for my Vita... Do I really have to wait 30 days to get super stardust Delta? Or is there a quicker way for this to happen?

I have a few questions, guys.
1) I liked the original PSP a lot because of how easy it was to move music over to it. I literally placed the files in the MUSIC folder and they worked. Heck, the PSP even recognized folders and everything. Is the PSP2 the same?
2) Battery life for the non-3G version?
3) How is the web browser compared to the original PSP's and modern smartphones such as the iPhone?-No Feeble Cheering-

Hope this helps:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2400352,00.aspMedia Playback
As great as the Vita is as a video game system, it's horribly clunky as a media player. The Vita includes music and video players, and the OLED screen is fantastic for watching movies, but Sony cracked down so hard on managing media the features might as well not be there. To get media on your Vita, you can't drag and drop files from your computer to the device, or to the memory card. Not only is the memory card proprietary, but the USB connection requires loading Sony's Content Manager Assistant on your computer before you can transfer anything. Even then, you can only choose which folders to make visible to the Vita, with one folder each for movies, music, pictures, and applications. From there, you need to use the Vita to transfer files, using the touch screen. The computer itself acts like a big hard drive with all but four folders invisible.
Since the memory card is PS Vita–only and no card readers are available, you have no other options for putting music and movies on it. Adding insult to injury, the playback controls are entirely touch screen–based. You can't, for example, advance tracks by hitting the shoulder button; you need to be looking at the Vita to go through your music. The PS Vita may support more files and play more media than the 3DS, but it can't come close to the ease of use of a tablet or smartphone for playing movies and music.

So they went the Apple route, then. I don't like having to jump through hoops just to put music on my portable devices. This makes not purchasing the system a lot easier. Danke.

Meh, that's no drama for me. Sony said they were making Vita first and foremost a gaming device.

So this is why you wanted to purchase a gaming system for? lol
The truth is that you will lose mostly if you don't,the system rocks,i'm as exited for it as i was for my PS3/360.It has a lot of potential and amazing capabilities for a portable system that "rivals" the home consoles in game quality. And when its hacked....i bet we will see so many things on it.Last edited by arfi-gorgona-O; 02-23-2012 at 07:27.

Guys I'm dying to know.. What is the mysterious port on the vita used for? What does it do?
We have (3G version): SIM card slot, memory card slot, game cart slot, charging USB area.. And that mysterious port.
??? It also looks like it has tiny screw holes for something to be locked into place up there..

It is simply listed as an accessory port.

So I've heard that transferring media files from the PC to the Vita is a pain in the dick. HOWEVER: is the same true transferring media files from a PS3 to a Vita? Can I just hook the Vita up to its bigger cousin and have my albums happily and smoothly jump ship?
Same for games. I always keep my PSP Go titles on the PS3 (LBP, Motorstorm, God of War, y'know). Can I just hook up the Vita, press triangle over one of my PSP titles, click "Copy" and have it on my Vita, no pain involved?

I saw something that is kinda odd (well never had it before with touch screen) There are times that i don't even need to touch the touch screen to do a command.I can move my hand very near the screen and it will execute the commands, does PSvita screen works with aura too? lol

Awesome review man! Thank you for this. Don't have a Vita yet, but looks like I'm getting one soon. Heard nothing but mostly positive things about it.
