PS VITA 3G question/concern, traveling.

In short i travel extremely frequently and to an array of different countries. they include many asian countries, sometimes europe, currently im in the US.

Now here is my question. im planning to buy the wifi/3G version of the ps vita, however the problem here lies that whether or not I can use the 3G in different countries. Like here in the US I am forced to turn to AT&T coverage for 3G. But like for example once im in Japan, or Singapore, can I still use their respective 3G services?

That would all depend on whether AT&T provide coverage in the corresponding countries you're wanting to visit. for instance Vodafone in the UK will obviously let me use the 3G in the UK, but it will also allow me to use it across over 70 countries which is pretty much 80% of the whole of Eurasia, Australasia, The United States, half of Africa, and Chile.

If you used a Verizon Networks sim card then you'd have the same deal as I would as Vodafone owns half of that company, but AT&T aren't as big as Vodafone and only operate in the US, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands so expect to have a premium cost when in other countries.

I would think that you would have to get a different SIM card and time cards for each region, but that would just be a guess.

But I'm still getting the 3G just because I can. Also I get WipEout 2047.

Same. Although, if any applications or features that are 3G-only ever come out, I would consider selling my WiFi and get a 3G

Or just grab the inevitible PSV 2000 that will have 4G =D
