PS Vita UK/Pal regions Launch Thread

It arrived!! aahhh!!

I rang home during my lunch break at work and my dad said there hadn't been any parcels so I was bummed out for the rest of the day but then saw the parcel when I walked in ^_^ I'm still waiting for Wipeout, Lumines and Hot Shots Golf to turn up but I;m so pleased.

I didn't realise it was this big until I actually held it, feels lush to hold though, cant wait to get going after the system update.

got the wifi version with uncharted golden abyss and a 8gb memory card, only played with it for like 30 mins but it's great

I had an interesting time trying to pick up my PSVita today:

Went down to GAME and handed over my Pre-order (PSV-3G, Everybody's Gold, Uncharted, 8GB). All went through the till and I paid for it, then suddenly the till wouldn't go through as they ran out of £10 vouchers. So I had to do the one thing I've never done in my life, refund everything back after 1 minute of purchasing it.

Went through again and because GAME ran out of vouchers, they gave me £5 free and gave me a £15 voucher for PSN. <3

So not only did I get a that and the Travel Pack (£25) for a total of £389. With that pre-order pack and £15 voucher I got 20% off any Vita game or accessory at GAME in March, Motorstorm RC and Escape Plan (including discount), earphones, Fireworks, and Frobisher Says for nothing!

Oh and people, STOP HAMMERING VODAFONE'S WEBSITE! I want Wipeout already. ¬_¬

Was at my local asda tonight and went over to the vita, the gf said stick it into the basket and she will pay £100 of it for me. I stood looking at it for a few more minutes and decided not to get it. I dont want to buy it incase I dont like it.

I was lucky, mine arrived about 11am today from Amazon UK, and I only ordered it yesterday

I got the WiFi Vita + 8Gb card + Rayman for £232, so pleased with that deal.

I was working at home today, purely by chance, and spent the morning downloading demos from PSN on my PS3.

Loving Rayman, it really suits the Vita well. Don't have any more space on the memory card to try the FIFA demo though.

Damn, bought the official SONY starter kit and the screen protector went on crooked with a spec of dust in the center Story of my life.

Got Ridge Racer free and picked up Little Deviants.

I got my screen protector on quite nicely, at first there were loads of bubbles, but then I just started slowly, bubble by bubble, pushed the bubbles to the edges and when that was all done I have a crystal clear bubble free protector!

I double made sure I had no dust on there first though!

Its telling me I have to update the system before I can even enter the initial settings. What do I do?

Go back and say you don't have an account, it'll skip the process and take you to the start screen for Vita (which you have to wait for the welcome video to finish). Once that's done go to your account settings and create a new one, select to log in to a current account and it'll upgrade your system from there. Weird but it works.

Turns out the Vita can't find hidden SSID's. Kinda lame. Atleast I still have locked Mac addresses.

The caps lose so much quality from how they actually appear in motion and on dat OLED.
Uncharted looks fucking amazing btw, as does Fifa and WipEout - I'm so pleased with this handheld

So the USB / Charger is at the bottom, the memory card slot is at the bottom and the 3G is on the side. Vita games obviously go in the top left, what goes in the top right?

What I can see is a port, with a screw hole on one side. I would assume it's for attachments.

I just redeemed the Ridge Racer content but nothing downloaded. xD
