So I bought the 3G model, did the steps to recharge $19 on the sim and it says I should get an e-mail with a code for WipEout 2047 but I see nothing in my inbox.
What gives?
Just received a message through 3G on my Vita saying my recharge has earned me a free copy of WipEout 2048.

Actually I read deeper into the site and it said the email with the redeem code could take 72hours. So i'll wait and see.
I think it's different for us in EU.

I also had trouble yesterday registering my 3g sim, when i tried to top up £5 using my Vita i kept being told that my card number didn't match the type of card i was using(Visa,Mastercard, etc).I called the helpline and they got me to change some settings but that didn't work either so the operator forced £5 credit onto my sim.I left it a few hours but still no 3g coverage so i used my laptop and registered my sim that way and not with my Vita. When i looked at the account balance it was zero but i did have 250mb of data so i assume that that was the £5 the operator put on for me(shweet) but i still top up £5 anyway just in case. When i get up today i switch the Vita on and have 2 messages-one confirming my top up and the other with a code for Wipeout. EVENTUALLY!!! Love the Vita as a whole so far!! This is my first post!! WAHEY!! add me if you want psn wilfthered Happy New Vita

How this works guys,i got a vod card that came with the vita,so in order to get the game i need to pay something or just use the 3g card and activate it?If i need to pay more then no ty,cause id rather pay for Rayman origins that i like, than some game i wont even play.
Good "night" my baby...i will always remember you.I love you.

What you do is put the sim card into the Vita, then on the Vita do this:
- Navigate to Network Operator
- Select APN
- Change APN to Vodafone UK (yours might be slightly different if you're not from the UK)
- Either on the PC or the Vita go to the Vodafone website and topup £5 to the sim card in your Vita
- After that create a My Account if you'll be using 3G at a later date after the 1 month (not necessary)
- Wait for Vodafone to send you the key via a text message on the Vita
The key was given to some people within a few minutes, some a few hours (like myself) and some it took 3 days so don't despair - I'm sure Vodafone are getting hammered for keys this month.

At least you guys in the UK don't have to wait 30 freakin days to cash in on the "freebie".

Just received a message through 3G on my Vita saying my recharge has earned me a free copy of WipEout 2048.
Can someone with a 3G tell me how find where the txt messages go? I only see it in the notification list.
Found it go Settings > Network > Mobile Network Settings > Notices From Operator.Last edited by mickice; 02-28-2012 at 13:01.
