Motorstorm RC speeds on PS3/Vita March 6th ** video **

I have mixed feelings about this. Instantly, Micromachines and Revolt come to mind.

This is not what I envisioned when imagining Motorstorm in the palm of my hand. Oh, well. I haven't been happy with the series since Pacific Rift.

This is a digital only title thats £5 for both ps3/psv
I hope Sony continue this trend of high quality/well-priced psn games

My point was mainly referring to how bad the latest iteration sold on PS3. It seemed a good time for them to try something different. I'm glad they did

The game seems to be getting a decent reception too, and again, the price point is just brilliant for what it is

II liked Arctic Edge on my PSP... I played this thing and its hardly a MotorStorm game at all. The controls are awful and the low price to me, says how crap it is

Yeah, it didn't help that MS Apocolypse got delayed and then when it did finally release it came out at the same time as a big Rockstar game that sold millions did so it got overshadowed. I think it was RDR. Not sure.

Sure they would and it would look stunning. Just like Arctic Edge did on PSP.

A Motorstorm in the light of the original title and PR would be gobbled up by Vita owners. RC looks like shit and will probably fare the same.

As for Apocalypse; I think the game sucking had more to do with its failure than RDR and a delay. It took everything that made Motorstorm great and removed it for a "cinematic" racing experience.

Due to the flop (in sales) of the last Motorstorm game, the future of the studio was in doubt. This was well publicized

Sticking to the same formula/genre/type of game would have probably spelled the end of them tbh. They had to try a different angle, and this is the end product. It's just a little PSN game lol, but it's very good for what it is. If this game flops, as you suggest, then that won't be as much of a problem in terms of finance as it would have been if a heavy/high production motorstorm game would have failed on the Vita. They didn't have much of a choice

Buy the game and support them. It'll encourage them to make a full blown Motostorm vita title in the future..perhaps

Wait, did Pacific Rift falter in sales as well? I thought that game did fairly well. Or is this just Apocalypse you're referring to?

I thought it was a great game and the destruction was awesome. So I have to disagree with you there. I still say the delay, RDR and Sony's usual lack of game marketing did the job on that installment.

It's a nice little RC car game.
It's not like motorstorm at all, there is no destruction etc. but you get 2 platinums for 6bucks

I also like the "shared" gamesave feature.
I got some trophies and medals on my vita, then started it up on the PS3 and just watched the trophies pop again hehehe all your progress is transfered from PS3 to VITA and vice versa.

ME GUSTA
