I have a few nitpickings with regards to the some UI choices (that I've mentioned in another thread) but nah I'm not disappointed..I haven't been this excited and pleased about console since the PS2
Mortal Kombat
Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention
Both are beefed up ports though, I suppose

Nope. I'm a happy camper with my Vita. Money well spent.

A little bit, but mainly because to me the launch titles where not that great. I don't consider ones being released after launch launch title. I played Uncharted and it is good, I can not wait for Gravity Rush. Once it gets updated more and more games come I will be happier. I do not regret getting it.

"I think all those developers who are saying, "We don’t want to do a PS3 game," or "It’s really difficult to do it," should shut up and make their games. If you have time to complain about it, then you should be spending your time working on getting the most from the hardware."

Just disappointed by the lack of PSP games such as Birth by Sleep and Valkyria Chronicles 2. Other then that, it's one hell of a machine.

I am completely satisfied with the system.
However I do wish there was more games to choose from at launch. Uncharted is great but nothing else got my attention besides gravity rush and unit 13 those aren't out
It seems as if every other Spartan in the Halo universe is cooler and more interesting than Master Chief, yet they all died at the beginning of Halo 1.

I have to admit I thought the controls were better than they are, closer to a Dualshock. But being a portable device that just doesn't seem to be possible. After two days I've yet to find a way to hold the Vita in a comfortable way while playing FIFA.
In general I'm pretty impressed how flawless the Vita launch went when compared to the PS3. The store is already in good shape, most of the features are working as advertised. Well, "most features". As usual Sony manages to fail in delivering the whole package.
For now a lot of the PSP library is missing (MGS: Peace Walker, Star Ocean) or is just too expensive (Persona 3), DLNA streaming is missing, Remote Play doesn't really work and PSOne games can't be played at all. But I'm pretty confident that most of this will be solved in the next months, PSOne playback was already confirmed to be available very soon.

the puzzle slider on welcome park is shit, doesn't feel like it responds to the touch screen very well. oh and not being able to turn off standby is a nuisance when it comes to mini games on super stardust when your just using the motion sensor to control everything.
apart from that it's all cool beans

No on-board storage, and of course the limited analogs... the menu is a tad "plain" and doesn't show any sophistication. Add in the proprietary memory cards, proprietary connector....

I'm with you on the menu it feels slightly wii-ish lol I would like custom themes for icons like not just wallpapers. Other than that I'm loving it. I got a little too exited at the wipeout intro video felt like a little kid but I do like my wipeout.

What's impressed me with mine (which I just bought at my local retailer for nearly the price of 2 US 3G ones, that is nearly $600) is the damn screen. This is MASSIVE! Not only that but the colors are so vivid and the damn thing is so responsive. Can't wait to pop in Ninja Gaiden and give it a go or try out all the demos.

Gonna wait til the 32GB sticks are more readily available and cheaper..want my Vita to be an almost completely digital system.

I don't think 32GB will be enough for that.
