Will this one have some sort of interactive comic like 2 did? I beat them both on Xbox and never got around to playing 2 on PS3.

Yes it does I've heard. But you don't have an Xbox anymore? I have heard that this REALLY ties in all the choices you've made together really well so I'd still recommend a 360 unless you've lost your saves.

No I lost 2 to RROD and decided against a third. I really wish I still had one just to play this game though. That's for sure.

Ok, so did the multiplayer part of the demo stop working? Says I need to activate the Alliance Network to access multiplayer, feels a bit off that they'd just strip it away from you the day of the launch.

It's not too bad for me. Gives me a chance to replay ME2 (my old save was stolen months ago along with my PS3).

Also, anyone following @AllianceNewsNetwork on twitter? It's a pretty cool viral type "news feed" for the game.

Good news on the Playstation Blog. Looks like Mass Effect 3 will be available to download at 12:01am if you preordered the game from the PSN.

I might be the only one on this forum that preordered from the PSN too.

Got my CE last night. I am still replaying ME2 because my save with No one left behind didn't have digital comic option so making sure it is set up the way I want.

EA has confirmed that Mass Effect 3 does not accept Mass Effect 2 saves imported from the cloud. Local save files which have been moved across consoles via the cloud are also unusable.

Players hoping to transfer a ME2 save file via the cloud onto a new Xbox to play ME3 must transfer the save file back to the original hard drive. In order to use a ME2 save file, players must move the save file back onto the original Xbox 360, and then transfer it manually onto the new Xbox, either via USB or using a transfer cable. Local save files which have been moved across consoles via the cloud are also unusable. Therefore, players without their original hard drives will encounter some problems, as there is no way to recover your save file.

Does this also mean that since I've been saving my progress with the online option on my PS3 that I won't be able to import my ME2 save either or does this only effect Xbox players?

Ok I got my copy of Mass Effect 3 right now.. am I the only one who didn't expect the 360 version to be on 2 discs? I need help.

What do both discs contain?

Do I need to switch discs midway through the game or something?

ME2 was two disks as well. You will need to insert disk one for character creation and game introduction. You will then be prompted for disk 2 to then play the majority of the game. Near the end you will put disk 1 back in for the conclusion.

You can use either disk to play multiplayer.

So yes you will swap disk out twice.

Thanks man. I didn't play ME2 yet.. I know right? I plan on playing them from start to finish after I beat ME3 to understand it better but I can't find ME1 anywhere for a decent price.

The PS3 version of ME2 has an interactive comic that catches you up on the story and lets you make the big story decisions from mass effect 1.

I am really enjoying it too. I love the extra (even if minor) RPG additions. Makes it feel more like a RPG/Action game with the upgrades and constant experience. I didn't play Mass Effect 1 so I don't know how good the RPG elements were, but they are much better than they were in ME2. Definitely not sold on MP when I first heard about it, but after playing it a bit, I am liking it, but damn it is really hard on the lower levels when you haven't unlocked anything yet.

Definitely some weird graphic glitches.......
Anyone have the game go to a weird shot of Earth with not text before it goes to the Mass Effect 3 Start Screen? WTH is that???
Totally had a squad mate that couldn't vault over a wall and had to re-load my previous save. But it is good to be back in the Mass Effect Universe again.

I'm going through the whole game..I wanna do every side-quest, collect everything and upgrade everything before the final mission. I wanna put at least 50 hours into this game.

I LOVE it so far. So happy to get Garrus back on my team. He's my BFF.
